Beyond being a heartfelt, inquisitive song, Ad Mosai is a musical stampede battering against heaven’s door in search of deliverance and redemption.
To capture that cascade of intentions and inflections, child soloist Avrum Chaim Green and Shira Choir’s finest voices teamed up at a recent event in Brooklyn. Under the graceful hand of musical director Mendy Hershkowitz, the gifted Sababa Band transported the song to an eerie, yearning place, as the vocalists built atop each other and inspired each listener to join them in asking: Until when?
