How fun! I just discovered Ella Langley flipping thru stations…I landed on a song I thought was “old school” country…until I heard the “modern day” lyrics…I was HOOKED! I’m 58 so I gravitate to old school country. So, Tracy Lawrence was a fixture in my music “catalog” when I was Honkey tonkin’ in the 80’s and early 90’s…and frankly the lyrics to her Riley Green duo, take me back to my honky tonk days because that was MY mindset when I was young and cute like her…. Ella and Tracy is the perfect mashup for me! Takes me back…past meets present 💜💜💜
Excuse me, Ella Langley is a star. Love her tenacity, talent, no b.s. attitude…and she is a beauty! Hope she never lets the suits try to change her or the female competition affect her because of her natural beauty (I am an over 30yr vet of the music biz). TRACY: I worked at BLA when you came to town. One of my favorites always! You had it. Radio sure loved you. Miss those days. I appreciate your podcasts and bits of wisdom you give these new artists. God Bless. P.S. Willie was in safe-keeping in Buddy’s office back then.😊
With all these weird people in the music industry this young lady is so refreshing and so nice to see someone as authentic and down to earth like her ✨💯💕😍
This was an awesome interview!! Ella you are so real and have morals and values like old school. Our country has lost this and it’s a dam shame. It’s so refreshing to see someone that has mad it and reflect back on those morals. Your rhetoric best and your voice is so wonderful!!
What a wonderful interview. Tracy, probably the best I've seen with you and your team. This girl... she's honest. She's bare. I love that you have such a knowledge that you can share because we all know it's so easy to burn out and burn bad. Great cast!
Saw Ella and Riley Green in Danville Va. last week and she really stole the show. She is full of energy and has a ton of talent. She is probably the next big star in country music.
I hope to see her live…I’m 58… to me, she’s a modern day Tanya Tucker…with that sassy attitude and a bit of a gravelly lower register voice.. she is INCREDIBLE
I believe your Nitch is your songwriting is REAL Storytelling about being a human. Please don't let the mainstream music industry change you. Brings me back to 60's ~70's Storytelling.
Keep writing songs and sing and play that Guitar girl … keep on … keep on! I just found you on UA-cam last night and so wish I could share your singing with him! He was a Country Singer with a Band … played Rhythm Guitar and sang at Honkey Tonks! lol Businessman by day and weekends singing Country Songs … George Jones … Merle Haggard … George Strait and on and on! He passed in 2021 … Country Music keeps me close to him … I feel like! Love your voice Ella! Live in Alabama! Sing Ella Sing! 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🌎🫶🏻🫶🏻👏👏
Ella is down to earth and relaxed.. and spot on. The quandary of playing vs doing enough social media.. It's impossible these days. People truly think you don't want it enough if you don't post to a level deemed acceptable. It used to be about the song, the performance quality and consistency of both! INot anymore. You gotta juggle puppies now and show the world when you're do the laundry, with a trending filter on it haha.. And she's also exactly right about just playing. Covers, acoustic, whatever. Play. Play shows. Play live. Experience playing to nobody, or even hostile crowds at the onset. All of it. It's easy to forget what used to be the standard earning of one's stripes.. Performing... Re: Tracy, I haven't had a chance to see many of these Road House shows but the ones I've seen, excellent. It's a conversation. I forget they are interviews! Anyway, claps for both lol..
I knew as a child that I was going to work in Electronics. Like you've described, it was a passion. I built a radio on my 8th birthday, I was doing TV repair at 13 and I tested out of a three year engineering degree at 20 when I entered the US Army I worked with some o the highest tech used by the Army. I worked in Radio & TV engineering,I supported Cable TV head ends, and installed large sound systems, I ended ny career building Telemetry equipment. Some was used by NOAA to receive weather satellite photos, so you've indirectly used my wok. There were times that I came up with designs, in my sleep. I was considered antisocial, because I was so driven. Some told me that 'You always have to be the smartest one in the room. I was just being myself. I'm in my 70s, and disabled. I really miss being able to do that kind of work. I made an Army DJ lay 'Foggy Mountain Breakdown during his hard raock adio show while I was at Ft. Greely. I gave him a coice. Play it, or be off the air for the rest of his show.
❤ Tracy and George podcast but most importantly I want to know that when I hear you paint me a Birmingham to hear you sing it you sang this song in South Carolina in the 90s and I cried my eyes out I still listen to it today what an awesome Entertainer you are Susan from South Carolina
*_A Good Gal That Ella, Has Character And Can See The Fun(ny) Side'A Things As Well._* Likes music _and_ people...I mean, who remembers that many names that they've wrote with and played with...right off the top of her head. A Good Gal Goin' Places. ❗
I'm wondering why I can listen to TL Roadhouse interviews live on Saturday mornings anymore? I can hear Tracy and his pal talking during songs but can't get the live known singers interviews. I listen through KXA radio station.
A Not Boring Arse Interview . I enjoyed it was funny at times . But it tells how times has changed and how hard they struggle . You can get country out the closet . She’s country .

ua-cam.com/video/rvwcZVOgXVE/v-deo.htmlsi=qGl6QOLhyVCQaDu6 I really like the realness of your podcast. But Tracy, you need a new song, a real two step country song. A song that tells a story about an old man still playing whenever the local band lets him on stage. This is it. he's the "Last of the Honkytonk Kings"
How fun! I just discovered Ella Langley flipping thru stations…I landed on a song I thought was “old school” country…until I heard the “modern day” lyrics…I was HOOKED! My parents play Ed music that's right they can play any instrument

Been there done that
That's right
The downtime comment is excellent advice.
She sounds like Mrs. Incredible 😂
A boat
North Carolina can play u some music
Tracy Lawrence sings," purple hulls and pintos, I've shelled more than my share." Doesn't know what a hull is. 😂
It could be a boat shell,a pea shell ,a bean shell
Play that song
Please stop smoking!
Leave her alone. Don’t judge.
@@KenHowe-g5bjust don't want her to ruin her voice and die too early, she is too precious to lose
You have nt killed a Alabama deer yet haa
does she sing other peoples songs and take requests ? In my opinion, the material might be even more important than the artist.
It’s absolutely 100% a cult Junior needs to get out of that. Do your research Junior dig deep absolutely horrible.
Haaaa
Please don't sell your hole or your soul for fame.
Why does such a beautiful talented woman smoke cigarettes? Get off the smokes, shit causes cancer.
She started young and its a hard thing to stop.its not my favorite thing either but it's something that country people tend to do
