Lee Claxton Suryagarh is an excellent recommendation. As for Udaipur, the Oberoi and the Taj are world-class landmark hotels. Madonna stayed at the Udaivilas as well, in addition to Ricky Martin and others.
Another great video review. I think the Leela Palace in Delhi seemed a bit more posh....but I'd love to visit this hotel chain when I go to India next time.
Thats coz they have Club lounge Leela Palace Delhi. Even though Suite here, Leela Palace Chennai doesn't have Club lounge. Pool here infinitely better than Delhi I reckon...

Mrkesavaraj very informative video ,a young luxury hotel chain which gained it's market position within short span unlike others who are running shows from years . This chain has been rated by conde nast traveller and Travel+Leisure as one of the high end luxury hotel chain in the world. Non of the hotel chain in India can even think to compare their properties with this chain when we talk about its massive and beautiful infrastructure, world class product, luxury and beautiful landscapes which are way above all. #itsfact.
Cool, I'm going to Udaipur later in year. Taj Lake Palace is booked. Choosing between Oberoi and Leela Palace the 2nd night. Oberoi has the brand/reputation/awards etc, but the photos of Leela Palace Udaipur do seem better...
MrKesavaraj yep you have done the right choice for your first night stay however for your second night ,I am bit sceptical with the two brands as both are equally good,one known for service and the other is for high end product especially the tastefully designed room.
TAJ, Oberai, Leela palace are not top three, Its ITC, Oberai and Leela Palace are top three luxury Hotel chain, Please try ITC Luxury property too. Regarding Leela Palace, I stayed at Leela Goa and Leela Banglore, both were amazing, but my visit to Leela Chennai was bad. I heard they are not doing that great as they are at other propertys. Just look at BMW, one of the headlight is not even working that really sad. But Great video Mr Kesavaraj, I like them a lot.
Advise noted. I will get round to staying at ITC one day. Maybe next time I visit Taj Mahal, I'll stay at ITC Agra (stayed at Oberoi Amarvillas before)...
I stayed at this hotel. One with sea view. It was really good! One of the best in India in my short experience

I’ve stayed at Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai. I preferred Delhi best of all. All Leela hotels are excellent.
