Because nobody is going to stop the technology from advancing as humans are greedy and lazy. There’s always some way to improve, but why do that when you can teach robots to do it all for you and even be smarter than the human brain capacity? The selfishness and laziness will only bring about the one thing people swear can’t happen, which is AI becomes too smart for it’s own good and turns on it’s creators.
