    I just got this piece of equipment to remove screws and bolts in my car. I was looking for how to use it effectively. This video became the answer to me. Thank you.

    Great explanation! I just got a similar type of impact driver and letters for directions were R and L. I thought R is to tighten and L is to loosen. After watching this video everything became clear that it is the opposite!

    These are a must have if you work on older motorcycles or anything that had JIS screws. I still have the one I bought back in the 70's at a motorcycle shop. They came with the JIS bits you needed. No more stripped screw heads.

    I feel like an idiot lol had an impact screwdriver laying around the garage for a couple of years now, thought it was a stupid design with the spring like tension. Never noticed in turning while going down lol always felt like damn this would a lot nicer if it was just a solid non moving piece but also didn't see the point of that either so this calrifires a lot thanks!

    Perfect how to! Thank you so much! Had a bad bad screw that would not budge. I talked myself in circles in my head, over-thinking. Thought i was using the tool wrong, but your way of explaining verified I was doing it right. Screw broke the tool.

    When you put the screw back on do you have to hit it with a hammer as well?

    • @mmunoz1379
      @mmunoz1379  Рік тому +1

      I would but you still need to be careful. Experience is really helpful here. You want to hit it back on so that the fastener is tight but not too much so that it strips out the screw head and is harder to remove in the future. Hope this gives you an idea. Good luck.

    Bought the Snap On full set today...watching this in a haze. Trying not to break out sobbing uncontrollably. I am a DIY'er and should not go on eBay after a few beers. Honestly have no idea what this thing was for. Bought for the scredriver bits in the sockets so i don't have to get screwdriver set and just use ratchet.

    Is it safe to use this tool on screw on a motor's shaft?

    • @mmunoz1379
      @mmunoz1379  3 роки тому +1

      I really don't know what you are working on and I could only give you an opinion. I don't know what the condition of the motor shaft or screw are. If the item you were working on was in front of me, then I could probably tell you something. I'm not going to try to sell you something without knowing for sure. It's best you make a decision on your own cause you are in front of the item you are working on. Hope this helps.

      @@mmunoz1379 I want to remove pulsator from my washing, but the screw that holds motor shaft with the pulsator is too tight to unscrew with normal screwdriver. I don't have a power tool. Should I use electric drill or it should be good with manual impact screwdriver.

      @@firdauszainudin7118 based off of what you are telling me, I would use the impact screwdriver with the correct bit. The correct size bit will make the difference. A wrong size bit will damage the screw. Now the other question is....is it reverse thread or standard thread? Good Luck!

    There is a tool made in japan by vessel for 11$ on amazon made for this issue. I don't know if those impact things damage a really sticky brake screw..I'm wondering if any of the impact screwdriver sets (like the quality capri unit) come w/ the proper phil head like the vessel made by japanese stats. Anyone know truly?
