Isn't it wonderful how "mistakes" can sometimes lead to things better than we imagined? I have had this happen (and some not so serendipitous mistakes too) and its one of the things that keep me coming back to play on my simple loom.
What an adventure in weaving! Glad you were able to salvage the fabric! I'd love to weave plaid some day, and I've learned from you adventure! I'll use all one fiber type -first-, then explore with the mix-n-match. Beautiful fabric by the way, can't wait to see it sewn up!
Wow! Thank you! You are amazing, thanks a million for sharing this technique! This literally saves me a big headache! Btw, the jacket you are wearing is awesome. Which pattern is it? Could you make video about how to best use bold all over patterned handwoven fabrics? I made a really nice fabric in shadow weaving but I didn't dare to make it in a garment...
The jacket is my 100 jacket pattern, that should be in the show notes. The pattern in the fabric is an 8 shaft shadow weave from Strickler #297. Working with bold all over patterned handwoven fabrics could make a good video. I'll have to think about how to do that...

How fun and informative! How has the yardage / finished piece held up? Have you had to wash it in any special way to keep the yarns in check?
Oh I love the Chaos shirt is there any chance you can make that a real pattern available in your shop as I would definitely buy it Please.
