Thank you Scott! Yes there was something about the silver age! I lived through most of it, so memories of being bought and buying these books, brings back memories! (These are replacements though, not my originals, unfortunately!)
1963 was a great year, some splendid books there, plenty I don't have and a few I do and even one there that you gave me, so thanks again for that haha I love ant head Superman and lion head too haha such fantastic imaginative covers make me want to own and read them all. On to 64 I guess
The new Superman stuff has been quite a good read, tempted to go back to some of the 90s stuff that would have been out at the time I started reading comics
Yes it has, very bronze/silver, style stories! It will be a while to get to the 90's especially as there were 4 monthly titles going at that time! I'm trying to re-read the 70's era! Thanks for watching, Brian!
That Super Ants cover is great, DC Direct released a Superman action figure that you can change into that ant character, the future Superman with the big head and long fingers from 256 and the lion one from 243 although he does get changed into a lion again on that Superman cover you showed, is 220 the earliest Interplanetary Games issue, I've always liked that shot putting cover?
I have seen those figures you talk about, but I don't believe we saw them in the UK, until they were brought over here by convention sellers. And yes Action #220 is the one I was thinking of, still haven't decided finally, whether I will go back to #200, only 24 issues but money wise lots more, lol! Thank you for watching and commenting, much appreciated!
Always love me some Superman.
Certainly can't go wrong with the Man of Steel, Matt! Thanks for watching and commenting, Much appreciated!
Those are some fantastic books!
