- The track was originally a demo created in 1981 and the sound quality wasn't great at all. Cameron Joyce then remastered the demo. Please write what you think in the comments.
They should have left this song alone instead of changing it to save our souls, this is the most badass song theyve ever done
Would've given Theatre Of Pain MUCH more credibility!
No way, Save Our Souls is my favorite Crue song. This is like a collage of lyrics with a really lame pop riff. It has no direction or resolution.
@@danoconnell3583 this song was made in 1982 (1 year before shout at the devil) so it would have been on Shout at the devil because Theatre of pain was in 1985.
@@Indigo2400 I mean that doesn’t really matter when it was written, Nikki wrote “Anybody out there?” In 1987 but it ended up on generation swine 10 years later
Have to respectfully disagree with you there sir. And my opinion save our souls as one of their greatest songs
Absolutely love this song!!!
This shows you what 1980's metal music is about.
3:09 ... Tommy was solid even way back when he was still a teenager. Wow!
HOLY FUCKING TITBALLS THIS IS AWESOME
Wish Vince’s vocals were a little louder in this
Toast of The Town is by far the best unreleased Motley song
They should have put this song on one of their albums. Rock On
after a few weeks of learning by ear, i successfully covered this song and i just wanna say im really proud of it. imo it should have been released on shout at the devil since a few songs on that album are a bit weak and this could have been a hit. this sort of thing makes me wish i was born early enough to experience this era of music and the possibility of seeing motley live in their prime
I've heard the very rough demo many times before. This is cleaned up a little better. Wish they had recorded it for one of their early albums. Or just record it professionally now...
THE BEST CRUE
Great raw sound.
This was a great song still popped into my head today. Mick Mars guitar just stays
From their club days in LA this was a standard..
Sounds like a killer riff and vocals....full of fire and pitch
yeah vince is a legend
Mick Mars. Is one of the greatest guitars ever!!!!!!!¡
Damn they were so fuckin killer back then.
This is a really good song, they should have used it , they sound really tight here. Thanx for the video.
2021
wicked track, never heard until i listened to the black angels live album 🤘👹🔥🔥🔥💀💀
So cool to hear this unreleased track! Thanks for the upload!
xoxo The Clarences
Sounds killer!!!
Muy buena la canción :D
Bien por compartirla.
We miss Mick Mars... Mick returnning now...
This would be high up in the top 10 if theyve relesed it
2022
This song is so fucking great.
Cameron Joyce told you it was awesome.
they really should have added this. even though it doesnt sound much like them compared to their other stuff. i can tell by the guitar its from the shout at the devil era but the style is how bands were sounding in like 85/86
This is from the too fast for the be) club days era.Never released..a shame.great song
I wish they would’ve put this on an album
It's an awesome, but they should've kept Vince's vocals on the same levels of the verses and not changed it to an impossible vocal range for the chorus. But it's a very cool song. Thanks for sharing it.
Cool af
Black angles laughing in the city streets
Well isn't this a neat remix. Cool how you added guitar parts, well done!
This song should have been on "Shout at the Devil." Side two of that album runs out of gas, this song would have helped that album finish strong.
This would've easily been the best Crue song
3:15 vince burped lol
does there happen to be a instrumental only version of this? considering you can't really do much about how awful quality the demo is it would be fun to use for karaoke. Though there would still be the issue of how hard it is to make out the words lol.
I really wish they had used more then the bit of the lyrics. Save our souls is so forgettable and boring but this could have maybe been greatest hits preform on recent tours level.
God! The corus make me remember another song, maybe from the '80, but I can't understand what song is!
Someone can help me?
This song eventually turned into Save Our Souls off of Theater of Pain.
How did Running Wild In The Night turn into Save Our Soul?😂
Souls*
I have no idea Nikki is a creative mind. What I do know is that the first verses lyrics are almost identical.
Black angels laughing in the city streets
Street toys scream in pain and clench their teeth
The moonlight spotlights all the city crime
Got no religion Laugh while they fight
Save our souls for the heavens
For a life so good it sure feels bad Save our souls for the heavens Save our souls for the promised land
Motley crue???
not bad photos niel vocals need work not a bad song they should've released it.
Pretty good musical-wise; the vocals need a bottom end somehow-sounds like a transistor radio & very disconnected from the music. Otherwise, keep up the great work!!
The issue with it was that the original was so low quality and we couldn't find just the vocals by itself making it much harder to tune up the vocals.
Delaney Davids
understood-you can only do so much with the source material you have to work with
+Delaney Davids Much better quality versions of this demo (and others) were fairly easy to find on bootleg vinyl and cassette back in the mid-80's. The problem is that the only copies floating around the internet these days are crappy, lossy .mp3 versions.
vinces voice is too quiet in this...
Put the speed to 1.25
Ninha banda favorita a mehor
I'm not sure who's cover of this song is "better". But I know which one is best! The Dickies!!!!! Don't believe me? Everything's on UA-cam! Check it out!!!
Cool, my first time being the first comment. That is all....
This song should have been released on "Shout at the Devil."
There's a couple of real clunkers on that record. With some good production this song has possibilities...
This sounds pop. The live version is better
Someone put another guitar track on it,that is not Mick. It sounds like a bad Theater of pain reject! I,know I slammed this a few years ago,but this song was a great song. My band learned it and played it at a talent show, and Nikki ,Mick and Tommy showed up ! So I hate ro see the demo made worse. The actual demo didn't come put good, but live,it was powerful! Oh well.
and my dad is nikki sixx
Nikki should have taken
This song, Saint and Sinner, Run for Your Life, and put it on Theatre of Pain
Goodbye City Boy.Blues of course
Get rid of Fight for Rights
Deep six Raise Your Hands to Rock
Then TOP would have looked like
Save Our Souls
Running Wild in the Night
Run for.Your Life
Home Sweet Home
Tonight
Use it Lose It
Saint and Sinners
MISSISSIPI QUEEN NOT SMOKIN
BLACK WIDOW
I WILL.SURVIVE
You guys would look way better without the tats
What a shitty remaster
sound sucks
What is this crap? Homemade drums and guitar?
You're deaf? you think this is a pro "re-master version", this crap sucks.
horrible
