- Halo isn't fun anymore, that's really how I see it. We used to have funny dialogue, hilarious easter eggs and so much more. But now Halo seems to have the comedic and light-hearted talent of a dried up fish. Bring the fun back to Halo!

What we need rn in MCC:
1. Better tier system. We should just unlock what we want depending on out rank
2. File share (obviously)
3. More things added to forge and lemme put some thought into this. Right now the only thing *PC REACH* has going for it is both the pc community and *MODS.* those said mods usually add things like the Frigate or new additions to firefight. What we need for both is actual content instead of leaving it up to mods. Imagine if we had pelicans and npc spawns for forge? People would play it even more and probably make machinimas which ik the actual machinima channel is done with and I might have spelled that wrong but we need em anyway. Besides since it's the xbox one I'm sure that the game could handle having stuff like pelicans and npcs.

Not gunna lie you’re right, I remember back in reach when I would truly try my best to defend the marines and I recall the time when one asked me for a sandwich. Simple but had me laughing, the series need a new game with new content, Reach on mcc is fantastic but I love this game and the world it has created that much I was still playing classic reach only about 2 months before mcc brought it back, Pray for Infinite and that 343 has learned from the things they done wrong and right

Not gonna lie, even I got nervous clicking on this video, but I’m glad it was just about Halo’s tone.
I feel like the marines and some of the characters light heartiness shows a great aspect of humanity how even in dire circumstances people will laugh and joke is the face of adversity. They will go on, it’s makes them feel alive and gets you immersed. Great example is Johnson saying “what’s the matter can’t start your own party” in halo 3.
I've been saying what this video is for years. I love it when halo gets serious, but it's become too serious. Halo needs it's levity back.

7:20 I did the same thing back then. I would love trying to protect as many marines or army troopers or ODSTs as I could. And, even though I wouldn't know their names, it would hit me if I were to see one of them die or realize I lost a few after doing a head count. And, not trying to get deep, but even though they're just AI in a videogame, the temporary allies that you lose in each Halo game still probably have families and loved ones, dreams, etc. And when I think about that kind of stuff, I start to say: "We should get a side Halo game some day where it's just you and maybe a friend or two who sign up to fight the Covenant. The story follows you and your friends through a violent war, and makes you feel the consequences of losing allies and/or friends." Sorry for such a long comment, but I wanted to get my thoughts out. Here's hoping what Halo will bring us in 2020.

6:01 The problem is that you could say that about pretty much EVERY character in Halo 5.
I remember Buck because of Halo 3 ODST, I remember Locke because he's the main character, but I can't even name the 2 women in Osiris because they are USE-LESS, and this could describe Blue Team too. Like if you're not into extended universe there's no way you would remember their name since they do absolutely nothing during the whole game. Even my boy the arbiter is here for the plot but nothing more. Sorry I know your video was not supposed to be an Halo 5 rant but I just got triggered.

You look for group posts. That's basically it because file share doesnt exist in MCC yet which hopefully it gets added sooner or later but yeah just look for group posts on the main page for MCC. Theres always a bunch

If you're on PC look up Halo Reach classic custom games maps, they have stuff on modDB and Nexus Mods

The serious tones honestly feel more genuine for me. It was what truly drew me into the lore, the fact you were fighting what seemed like a losing battle was a fun idea. But I also agree that something more silly would be good to have up next.
Hell, why not something in the style of DOOM, where your main weapon is a gravity hammer? Design the levels and gameplay to allow you to simply zip around, hammer some aliens into a lovely paste. Halo 5’s method of movement is something that could and should be revisited sometime in future, and combine it with my sheer joy of the absurdity that is, the gravity hammer, you’ll have something utterly stupid, yes, but infinitely more fun.
Seriously, a spartan that just happens to be very enthusiastic about mauling everything with his bare hands, or the nearest blunt object, would be the game I long for. And it’s also my excuse to run around like an idiot with a hammer. Because why the fuck not?
I feel like this happens with most franchises over time, like in a lot of book series, as time goes on they just get more and more dark until the end.
The only game were I think npcs have funny lines are in the arkham games.

Buck was meant to be Thorne but the VO couldn't make it and hence it went to Buck so unsure if much of the script changed or was written by that time. He does make quips in gameplay but you have to be idle to hear it which is a shame.

What I like about Halo the most?
A) The Covenant weaponry and the Magnum and Shotgun too.

Halo 5 had a unique hud for each of the different characters, like buck, who had an halo 3 odst themed hud...
My clan tag in Reach is '343 Ruined Halo'. I stand by it, we'll see if it changes to killed or saved when Infinite launches.
