What hurt me more is when my 9yr old daughter which is her dad , one day watched me and said " mom why did you marry this man, why don't you leave and find someone who will respect and love you and make you happy?" I was so ashamed. I couldn't give an answer except, "he's your father and he's my husband and we're already married." Lol O boy, please help me pastor, please remember in your prayers. I have encountered people who are unsincerely apologetic . Some are mindful of others forgiving spirit and take advantage of repeatedly being vindictive then apologise without meaning. Some only apologise when there's need of one's assistance. Yes, forgiveness is rewarding to all partners involved with or without an apology. Forgive without enmity. However, it changes the dimension of a friendship. Forgiveness doesn't necessarily means reconciliation.
