Really intresting Steve. I enjoyed the reccolections of rifleman harris and the vicissitudes of a soldiers life on the podcast, nice to see a visual representaion of that era.
We are going to release the audio only of videos such as this on our podcast, the Living History UK Podcast :) Glad to hear you are enjoying the content.
steve i have landed up buying a weapon that malfunctioned and went off at half cock. In case anyone else has this problem go to an armourer or gun smith. if its going off at half cock the issue will likely be either the screw is too tight in the weapon, not enough wood was chipped away or in my case because my trigger rode high it could not engage the seer. the gunsmith i went to filed a little bit away and now its safe to use again.

Glad it was rectified and is now safe. Hopefully it didn't cause you any issues or harm going off at half cock.
