That’s life and the wind doesn’t shift direction because of that. Perhaps you do not comprehend the role of the lyrics here or in a song? It’s easy to have fun and throw your legs and arms around shaking a foolish head and an empty heart. There’s a message in this song, there are country influences in its composition, there is a message even in the dancers that synchronise with the actions she describes. The fact that their faces are covered has also a purpose, one doesn’t focus on the dancers facial expressions but perceives it as part of the narrative the singer expresses. They represent demons that set you back in life. It’s a story developing before your eyes narrated by a beautiful voice screaming out as a way of expelling the bad that sets you back, the lack of purpose in life due to depression and other problems a person faces.
