"I'll take it that's a dash" > Proceed to immediately fall in the acid puddle that could be avoided with a simple dash Ah yes, classic hollow knight shenanigans Nice job finding and doing the skip to brooding mawlek tho 👍
@@foxtrot9381 Regarding the dash I first had to learn how to master my newfound freedom 😅 And is that not how the game wants you to get to the brooding mawlek? I assume you mean the spike bounce section?
@@frostyyy777 ahahah that's understandable, honestly congrats for surviving so long without dash 🤣 Ye was talking about the spike section Without spoiling too much you'll get other abilities later in the game that allow you to go through this section without the hassle of having to bounce on the spikes However the HK devs made the game in a way that allow you to skip that ability if you want to beat Mawlek early So in a way yes, it is "intended" but not part of the recommended route for first time players as it may create sudden difficulty spikes (as you experienced it first hand 😁) There's quite a few other sections like this one that you can skip in the game if you want the additional challenge and rewards. But if you prefer to stick to the "normal" route then like any metroidvania there's probably an ability somewhere in the game that can help you progress.
@@foxtrot9381 Oh thanks, I didn't know that. Just trying to find my way through the world and for a while I thought they wanted me to kill the mawlek at that point anyway so I thought I had to go there already.
I watched the last one yesterday, so happy the next ne came out so soon
