I think this collab was a tremendous success. Between all of us we've basically put together a whole course on Neoplatonism in the space of a month. Awesome!
why do you keep calling Islam western? it is not western, it's christianity that's eastern. Shocked at the arrogance/ignorance, especially coming from some tundra inhabitant.
@hasanpiker9472 After hearing a speaker for hours and not being able to pinpoint his ideology or religion , speaks a lot about him and his exceptional skills. I heard him for hours and I'm still not sure what school of thought he is inclined to.
This was just exquisite, a supreme tour de force. To think that such quality is available for all, for free, it's just incredible. What an immense service. Not to be taken for granted. Thank you Filip. It's a true honour, delight and pleasure to be creating content alongside you. I know how much work goes into it. Respect. With love, Zevi

I promise I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that your lectures on neo-platonism are among the best videos I've seen on this entire website and present some of the most fascinating ideas that I have ever heard in my entire life.
I thought peeps would appreciate this quote from Matthew Fox in The Coming of The Cosmic Christ. "Without mysticism there will be no deep ecumenism, no unleashing of the power of wisdom from all the world's religious traditions". I hope you know Filip, that you along with your colleagues, are doing a great service for humanity. Keep up this holy work.
It's hard to appreciate anything from a video that claims Sufism was influenced by Islam but provides no evidence. You will find no mention of Plotinus or neoplatonism in the literature of Sufism from the earliest of times to after the demise of the relevance and popularity of philosophy altogether, long after al-Ghazali. There simply was no interest. Neoplatonism is an academic fiction.
Cosmic Christ. Hilarious. Space Jesus. Celestial Savior. Silly. Christ means MESSIAH, the anointed, and has nothing to do with outer space, unless you mean the heavens. The world is a hilarious place, with the most ridiculous ideas being taken seriously by the most ridiculous people.
Mysticism is a generic word used by Academics as an umbrella term to describe what they imagine is a secret part of religion. Because they don't know what else to call it, but it does not apply to anyone in specific. Nobody calls themselves a mystic who is not a conman. Mysterious rites are more of a pagan thing. The Elusynian mysteries for example. Academics and religion just don't go together, academics don't have a mind to understand religion and don't care if they are wrong, much, because it is just academic to them.
That quote sounds like what someone who wants to be quoted but has nothing true to say, would say. But mysticism is a very abstract thing with no real definition and none of the other things mentioned ACTUALLY need it to exist on their own.
@King Of Detroit We are all walking in seas of maddness in our world today. All societies are being affected. Human nature 101. Wars for profits, powers of elites of greed.

I'm really enjoying the series on Neoplatonism. It's all very high quality content from everyone involved. You have a way of explaining philosophical concepts such that it's a bit easier to digest/comprehend for someone outside the religion.
Bro. This is only a delusion. Don't believe him. Please do your own research on that topic and you'll see yourself how much mistakes he made.. let me ask you one thing. How can Islam pick and choose only the correct things from the Greek methodology and leave away all the false things they believed in? . Don't surrender your brain and intellect to him please.
This is something I asked during my Middle Eastern studies, and I never had the tools to research outright. Thanks for making such an informed video on how these ideas moved and changed!
Thank you so much for this topic on neo- platosim and the other links. I appreciate your analysis as always. Truly, it is a complex topic. Thank you for your wisdom and ideas for sharing with all of us who enjoy different philosophers and religious schools of thought and ethical backgrounds to gain more exposure to many I have not read about. As always, I appreciate your all your lectures and videos. With great respect and admiration, I am eternally grateful.❤️📚 This film of nature is magnificently placed.
In this era where most people spend their time listening or talking nonsense, listening to such an inspiring presentation is like finding a priceless treasure. Thanks for making this happen.
Unfortunately nothing is more nonsensical than the claim that the Sufis had any interest in Hellenic philosophy, Plotinus was unknown to the Muslims and neoplatonism was invented by modern academics, did not really exist.
Great topic of study for the day... Looking forward to digesting the rest in the series... But tbh your delivery and tone is just on point... Many thanks to you and the rest of the team covering the various aspects 🙏🏼💯🙏🏼

I don’t think it is a coincidence that I found and follow you individually and suddenly you are collaborating in something I really wanted to know! Blessings. ❤️ Elena
Wow! This was an amazing lecture! That you are able to cover so much in a deep way is powerful! Thanks for one of the most succinct and beautiful English overviews of Ibn 'Arabi EVER!
This is all nonsense. He's only trying to deny the prophet Muhammed peace be upon him to be a messenger from God. And he failed as all his those who did the same try have failed. So what is you ( wow ) for?
As someone who was converted from atheism by reading Plotinus, and who (after a winding path) ended up following the teachings of a Sufi Guru (Shirdi Sai Baba), this is exactly the topic I have been waiting for without knowing it! Thank you so much for bringing these connections to light.
@Viking Spirit You're absolutely right, this summed it up well I think by pointing out Avicenna's view that at the highest level there is only one truth. What path you take to get there is up to your personal preference (attitudes, tendencies, upbringing etc.) but ultimately the destination is unchanging.
@@t0xcn253 And the differences in attitudes, tendencies and upbringing are part of the infinite variety of manifestation and expression of God's "hidden treasures".
Are you a Muslim? Because if you want to belong to a Sufi order you have to be a Muslim. Otherwise there is no benefit. Abu Nasr al-Tusi wrote: "The whole of Sufism is to befoundin the Koran and the Sunnah of the Prophet, a fact which is not denied by the scholars when they investigate it. Those who deny it are the formalists who recognise in the Koran and the Sunnah only the external ordinances and whatever will serve them in controversy with opponents. The author laments that in his time this formal theology, inasmuchas it offereda ready meansof obtaining power and worldly success, was far more popular than Sufism, which involves bitterness and anguish and self-mortification." Kitab al-Luma
I wanna chew out my philosophy class for never teaching me aaaanything about Islamic influence, but the prof probably just didn’t know either. It’s just so sad out how our education system has been so built to uplift one people, when we’ve all been struggling to understand and be kind in this world and just aaaaaaaaa Anywho!!! Thank you so much for all the work that you put into this videos
I challenge you to produce a single example of Islamic literature being influenced by so called neoplatonism. Few and far between were the Muslim philosophers who knew how to separate religion from philosophy. The allegation if influence is hypothetical and without real evidence.
I applaud your philosophy teacher for avoiding such a fantastic claim. It's really easy to claim that Islam or Sufism were influenced by Neoplatonism or Greek philosophy. It's impossible to prove.
The most important reason why neoplatonism could not have influenced Islam is that it was created by modern academics to describe many ancient philosophers and philosophies and make it appear that they belonged to one school of thought. This is a fantasy.
You could search the literature of Islam for years looking for a single reference to the name Plotinus and what you will find is that he wasn't known. An-Nadim mentioned just his name, saying he saw it written on a scrap of paper. This is the only mention of Plotinus. His Enneads was attributed to Aristotle and was unpopular, after Al-Kindi nobody pays attention to it.
It's neat at first when you find out that the Arabs and Muslims read Aristotle. But people are allowed to read books and even like them. That said, philosophy itself was not as popular as academics would have you believe. A handful of famous Muslim philosophers can be mentioned but this is not the same thing as saying that their personal opinions on philosophy had any effect on the Theology of Islam which predates the translation of Greek philosophy into Arabic.
Thank you for this most excellent illuminating and enlightening presentation. Young minds can benefit and appreciate such incisive and easily understandable content. I commend your collaboration team and look forward to more informative presentations.
I feel obligated to tell you that the premise is essentially a lie. No Sufi ever mentioned Plotinus and Neoplatonism is a fictitious school invented by modern academics desirous of claiming Platonic influence in a round about, fantastic manner.
This video and the previous one have been a revelation to me. Even though I've done a fair amount of reading and taken courses in philosophy, the idea that neo-platonism is so fundamental to western culture never became clear to me until now. I'm beginning to understand why the west became hierarchical, with top-down, authoritarian thinking informing everything about the culture. No wonder grass-roots, bottom-up ideas are so hard to put across. Obviously it's more complicated than that, but you've given me a great deal to think about. Thanks.
Coming back to this a year later, as I’m writing an essay in my Neoplatonic course ~ which you inspired me greatly to follow. Grateful for your wonderful work, again :)
"I was a hidden treasure and I loved to be known, so I created the world so that I might be know" -Hadith Qudsi that sentence was a very deep beautiful thought
The tradition of the Hidden Treasure is the most widely used Hadith in the field of speculative mysticism. It states: "I was a Hidden Treasure; I loved to be known, so I created the creation in order to be known." From the 5th/12th century onward this tradition has occurred in major Sufi texts, and the Sufi masters like Ibn al-Arabi and Rumi have made abundant use of it to build their mystical philosophy. However; This hadith has been identified as fabricated or baseless by many classical scholars. Therefore one must not attribute it to Allah (Most High) or His Messenger (peace be upon him). Rather one should strive to warn people against it. The Hadith, I was a hidden treasure that was unknown. And I loved to be known, so I created the creation. I gave them knowledge of myself, so they came to know me. (The Hadith) is baseless. (Imam Jalal al-Deen al-Sayuti, al-Durar al-Manthoorah). The Hadith, I was a hidden treasure that was unknown. And I loved to be known, so I created the creation. I gave them knowledge of myself, so they came to know me. (The Hadith) is baseless according to the explicit statements of Hufaadh like, Ibn Taymiyah, al-Zarkashi and al-Sakhaawi. (Imam Ali bin Sultan al-Qari, al-Mowdo’aat al-Sughraa). It is important to recognise that the onus is upon people narrating Hadith to reference them correctly. If they do not do so, then it should be requested of them. A failure to adhere to such practices has resulted in many dubious Hadith narrations spreading in the community. It is prohibited to attribute a fabricated or baseless Hadith to Allah (Most High) or His Messenger ﷺ. It is only permitted to mention such narrations to warn people about them. It must not be promoted or propagated.
Beautiful exposition Filip. I'm happy that you get deeper and deeper into ibn al-'Arabi's school of thought with every video from the Islamic series - you won't exhaust yourself with video ideas when it comes to the writings of him and his students! I definitely feel that you want to convey that the truth of Neoplatonism is the same truth as 'Akbarian' truth, or the 'Eckhartian' truth, etc. It definitely seems to be the case, but, moreso, the conclusion shared by these schools doesn't seem to simply be the logical endpoint of theology, even if it is a satisfying place for reason to rest. The shared epistemology for all the proponents of this understanding is not reason at all - but kashf/direct experience, stressing the graspable reality of these ideas. ibn al-'Arabi himself made sure to put ratiocination in the passenger seat for a reason. I think your line of thinking is correct, and is a view held by the perennialists. Just as God effuses into the myriad of different things, the sweetness of truth comes in many flavors!
The quality of these lectures on neoplatonism has been totally outstanding, you are all brilliant, beautiful minds and souls. This teaching in particular was totally mind blowing and eye opening, I really did not have an idea of how influential neoplatonism has been in history. You guys are doing an incredible public service, bringing these topics to a broad audience in such skillful way. When buddhists say Upaya, I'm damn sure these learning experiences you are creating are what they are talking about.
Heh. There never existed a school of philosophy called Neoplatonism. Worse, the philosophers dubbed Neo Platonist did belong to the same or one school. Still worse the honorary founder, Plotinus, was as much a disciple of Aristotle. Porphyry makes it known that all of the doctrine of Aristotle is in Plotinus. This is not said about Plato.
There can be no such quality lecture on Neoplatonism it's an academic fiction. In reality the so called Neoplatonists were independent of one another. Worse the Muslims didn't know Plotinus and Sufism wasn't influenced by Plato. Neo or otherwise.
It definitely was/is extremely influential, so they could make a similarly detailed video on it. I hope they do. But maybe they don't have an expert on that.

Brother you are presenting a great work. A legacy and a heritage for lots of coming generations to reference. This effort is significant. I am a muslim and it is a honour to continue learning about the philosophy of islam and the schools of thinking and by which intellectual directions it was influenced throughout history. Allah bless you, my brother ❤
This should be amazing- keep up the great work! 💚🙏🐢🐍 I find the transmission to Islam of Plotinus and Porphyry via Pseudo-Aristotle's Theology just fascinating.
That is, the hypothesis which claims Neoplatonic influence on Islam or Sufism. Plotinus was unknown to the Muslim world his one book being attributed to Aristotle allegedly. There is literally no evidence.
If true it was 2 Enneads only. It was seen as the work of Aristotle to the few who cared. Sufism was against philosophers in general and cares nothing for Plotinus. Neoplatonism is fiction.
First rate? Didn't you notice that there is no evidence to support the claim that Islam or Sufism ever concerned itself with a school of philosophy invented by modern academics? Of course not. But this is the truth. Neoplatonism never existed. Islam never cared about Plotinus and owes nothing to Greek philosophy, which is something outside the scope of religion.
You would be fortunate to be one of the people who actually asks for proof. I had a nice little debate with the maker who believed that Plotinus was known to the Muslim world. He was under the impression that Plotinus was called the Greek Sheik. This is false. Shahrastani referred to Aristotle by this title and Aristotle was known by many as the Greek Sheik. I had to educate him regarding this matter.
Further, he believed that Plotinus was known in the Muslim world but I informed him that, according to the available literature, Plotinus was just a name written on a scrap of paper mentioned by An-Nadim. The rest of the so called neoplatonists are of no consequence. Unable to defend what he claimed the video maker had not since replied. I would reassess that thought if I were you. A first class education does not deal with make believe schools of philosophy and the desires of European academics to attribute everything to the heathen Hellenes.
These concepts and understandings are very easy to understand. It's very clearly seen in everything around you, and you can experience this all within yourself.
Hope ull take this positively.. it's pronounced shifaa not sheefaa and 3qlul awwal (with a tashdeed) not awal nafsul kuliyya not kuliyaa. The pronunciation matters as it effects the meaning with the wrong pronunciation All other terms were pronounced very intellectually. Loving this ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Filip for this. Each episode really broadens my understanding on neoplatonism, moreso in its application in Islamic Thought. I wanted to ask whether we see the transfer of these ideas in the African continent, anywhere besides Egypt and the Maghreb. Are there written traditions that you have come across that echo this similar discourse? Or has it mostly centred around the Arabian peninsula?
ibn Arabi and Ibn rushd were andalucian arabs and I think some west african sufi tariqahs like the tidjanis may be heavily inspired by the neoplatonic akbari sufi school or may be neoplatonic themselves I'm not entirely sure about east africa though
Islam is the survival of neo-platonic wisdom & genuine mysticism , this is what attracted me to Islam . Christianity unfortunately became a social club while Judaism has lost it's neo-platonic tradition long time ago now it's a poisonous political club even though some few Jews tried to revive it's wisdom like Rabbi Zalman Schachter Shalomi but with no to little success , the future is certainly for Islam to lead the world's spiritual quest .
I agree to a certain degree with you but unfortunately most of today's Islam or better to say today's "Ulama" lost its very core I mean the spiritual/ mystical/gnostic dimension it became almost like an empty egg shell with very little contents inside. Besides that Islamic mysticism is not only similar with Neoplatonism but also with Gnostic Christianity and Zoroastrianism in certain aspects although we must admit that all off despite the differences have many things in common.

For example, we read in Book "Sahih-Muslim" that A heard from B and B heard from C and C Heard from D that Prophet said: all Black Dogs are Devil. First of all, it is matter of commonsense to reason that Prophet could never tell this kind of Moronic Joke that Black Dogs are Devils only because their color is black. Besides; how will you know that if A, B, C, and D really told this story, or someone forged this story (as it appears), and he fabricated Chain/Isnad, and then he attached that moronic comic story to the names of A, B, C, D? Other Example: Gama heard from Jama who heard from Talha who heard from Aisha who heard from Abu Bakar who heard from Prophet that *Rats are a Tribe of Jews* (this joke is given in Books of Bukhari and Muslim). Now, how will you confirm if this story was really told by Talha, Aisha, Abu Bakar and Prophet because when this story was fabricated, at that time, Talha, Aisha, Abu Bakar and Prophet were not alive. *They were not there to confirm the Authenticity of that story.* Fact is: when a Hadither-Forger can Forge Matan (text) of Hadith; same Forger can also Forge Chain/Isnad of Narrations; *and same was said by German Muslim Scholar Dr. Murad Wilfried Hofmann.* *Besides; we read in almost all Well known Books of Sunni sects as follow:* 1- Prophet forbade to write his hadiths. *So what Hadiths?* 2- Caliph Abu Bakar forbade Hadiths. He said: "La Tuhadithu" *So what Hadiths?* 3- Caliph Umar *burned and banned all Hadiths* and equated Hadiths to Jewish Talmud/Mishnah. *So what Hadiths?* 4- Caliph Umar wrote letters to all city Governors to erase all Hadiths. *So what Hadiths?* 5- *Caliph Umar placed three Companions of Prophet under house arrest FOR LIFE due to their Hadith-Mongering.* ----- *So what Hadiths?* 6- Caliph Umar refused to write SUNNAH of Prophet. *So what Sunnah and what Hadiths?* 7- Caliph Ali told Muslims in one sermon: erase all Hadiths because nations before you were gone astray because they stuck to hadith books of their Scholars, and abandoned Book of Allah. *So what Hadiths?* 8- Caliph Ameer Mu'Awia told people: Do not narrate hadiths. *So what Hadiths? Where did you bring these all millions of Fabricated Hadiths from? Where from?* *_We never post any thing without Reference. Neoplatonism borrowed from eastern philosophies of finding inner peace from within. this is in contrast to the western philosophy which seeks change from outside (thus the rise of empiricism and science in the western world). Neoplatonism had huge impact on sufism. it created the mystic and ascetic look of sufism which didn’t make a great impact on the world because it’s esoteric and unfalsifiable. Anyway, all the ideas that came from neoplatonism and all its followers are just mere speculations vs the Aristotelian tradition which was empirical and falsifiable. so Neoplatonism lost the race to Aristotelianism. One more point worth mentioning that neoplatonism and its followers in the islamic followers were considered heretics because they spoke speculatively without evidence about God which was a red line in Islam. Aristotelian tradition on the other hand triumphed because it sought answers about the creations not the creator. the creations can be examined but the creator can’t. Period.
The fact that you begin your argument with a crap like ''western thought has/had poor capacity for esoteric/spiritual stuff" is uncalled for at its best and incorrect at worst. The implicit assumption of oriental monopoly in spiritual matters is the first thing you have to look into with more rational humility.
These kinds of videos fuel my motivation to continue learning Arabic. It’s interesting gradually being able to learn through the lens of a language and culture which is not indo-European even if I reject most of its philosophical contributions.
No culture is Indo-European. This term is meant to describe a hypothetical mother language. India is hardly a European culture and Europeans are hardly Indians or Hindus. I know linguists divide languages into Indo-European, Semitic, Afro-Asiatic, etc. But the relation between Hebrew and Arabic is obvious and applies to many words. The relationship between Greek and Latin Sanskrit is hypothetical and based on the similarity in sound and meaning of a handful of words. It's truly bizarre.
@@yusufg.1281 the point I was trying to make is that it’s a language entirely different to mine. I especially like Arabic because there are many differences in the way things are expressed and even conceptualizad and fusha also does a great job of preserving these differences and only allowing for very few loan words. I am not a Muslim or a language purist but the fact that Arab scholars, especially the religious ones, kind of are language purists allows me to learn a language which simultaneously has modern applications despite being essentially medieval and about as distant from the languages I’m fluent in as a language can be since even lexical influence from colonial languages is negligible in fusha I don’t know anything about northern Indian or Persian languages so I am not qualified to defend the idea that they share an ancient ancestor with European languages tbh. I kind of just accept the consensus among experts on this subject which I realize is not infalible but “indo-European” is just the widely accepted category I used to distinguish my better known languages from Arabic

Firstly, a hugeeee thanks for making this video. Just a small think to note around 33:27 that to Ibn Arabi, the essence is also named the “ahadiyyah” or onness. It may be said that its not a literal numerical oneness but still its named so. ❤ He also has a small treatise Kitab Al Ahadiyyah on the subject and its described in many other of his works as well. It can’t be contemplated at all, and that is correct. But there are a few abstract things that can be said about it, which warrant an email exchange or a call.
The "Ahadiyya" is a step "below" the Essence in the process of entification, and the kitab al-ahadiyya has bern proven to not be written by Ibn Arabi but by Awhad al-din Balyani.
Great piece! Any chance of a review of Titus Burkhardt's work? I was impressed with his book on alchemy, and am particularly wondering where he might have gotten the material for the last chapter, including the symbols for the planets.
Wonderful work as always. The description of God breathing in and out to constantly create the universe sounded extremely Hindu. But of course in this case it's a relatively rapid "breathing" as creation is recreated constantly, where in Hindu cosmology (as I understand/remember it) each breath from Brahma extends over the entire lifespan of universe, as it is created and then aeons later destroyed, before being created anew.

I hope you know Filip, that you along with your colleagues, are doing a great service for humanity. Keep up this holy work.
I have no words to say how praiseworthy you guys are.

I wanna chew out my philosophy class for never teaching me aaaanything about Islamic influence, but the prof probably just didn’t know either. It’s just so sad out how our education system has been so built to uplift one people, when we’ve all been struggling to understand and be kind in this world and just aaaaaaaaa
Anywho!!!
Thanks.

"I was a hidden treasure and I loved to be known, so I created the world so that I might be know"
-Hadith Qudsi
that sentence was a very deep beautiful thought
Can you proof the authenticity of this hadith???
We would like to know wether its authentic or fabricated.
Great work brother. May Allah bless you with good health and ever increasing success!
You are passionate in exposing these treasures, i can feel it. Thank you for your work. From a kurdish brother somewhere
Excellent, I loved it…it reminded me so much of my many conversations with my beloved father. Thank you for the great job.

I find the transmission to Islam of Plotinus and Porphyry via Pseudo-Aristotle's Theology just fascinating.
Unfortunately it's entirely fictional.
I feel so lucky to be given this first rate education for absolutely free. Thank you so much!
If you haven’t already please do a video on the zahiri school of thought
Zahiri is a legal theory, like Maliki, Hanafi, etc. not a theological theory. Theologically, the Zahiri is Sunni.

Or has it mostly centred around the Arabian peninsula?
ibn Arabi and Ibn rushd were andalucian arabs and I think some west african sufi tariqahs like the tidjanis may be heavily inspired by the neoplatonic akbari sufi school or may be neoplatonic themselves
I'm not entirely sure about east africa though

I tell ye now to repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon asking the Father!

They never certified as SAHIH any extra-Quranic report of Hadith, Hadith Qudsi, Sunnah, Seera, Fiqh and Tafsir. So logically, rationally and legally we cannot classify even one extra-Quranic report as SAHIH*
It was literally the companions رضي الله عنهم that narrated the ahadith.
@@azote339
Prophet, and all Sahaaba left behind no any manuscript of any Hadith. So, there is no any Proof that if they narrated any hadith. Fact is: after the death of Prophet, after the death of four Caliphs, and after the death of all Companions; Sunni and Shia heretical Imams started to quote stories in the names of Sahaaba *but no any Sahaabi was living at that time to confirm that if he has told that story or not. Six Books of Sunni Sect and 4 of Shia sects were FORGED by Defeated Persians of Zoroastrian Ancestry 250-400 years after the death of Prophet, and that time is a bigggggggg gap*
Because Rasool, 4 Caliphs, and all Companions of Prophet *IN PERSON* certified no any Hadith (written in Hadith Books) as Sahih; so, morally, logically and legally, we cannot classify any Hadith as Sahih.
*They were not there to confirm the Authenticity of that story.*
Fact is: when a Hadither-Forger can Forge Matan (text) of Hadith; same Forger can also Forge Chain/Isnad of Narrations; *and same was said by German Muslim Scholar Dr. Murad Wilfried Hofmann.*
*Besides; we read in almost all Well known Books of Sunni sects as follow:*
1- Prophet forbade to write his hadiths. *So what Hadiths?*
2- Caliph Abu Bakar forbade Hadiths. He said: "La Tuhadithu" *So what Hadiths?*
3- Caliph Umar *burned and banned all Hadiths* and equated Hadiths to Jewish Talmud/Mishnah. *So what Hadiths?*
4- Caliph Umar wrote letters to all city Governors to erase all Hadiths. *So what Hadiths?*
5- *Caliph Umar placed three Companions of Prophet under house arrest FOR LIFE due to their Hadith-Mongering.* ----- *So what Hadiths?*
6- Caliph Umar refused to write SUNNAH of Prophet. *So what Sunnah and what Hadiths?*
7- Caliph Ali told Muslims in one sermon: erase all Hadiths because nations before you were gone astray because they stuck to hadith books of their Scholars, and abandoned Book of Allah. *So what Hadiths?*
8- Caliph Ameer Mu'Awia told people: Do not narrate hadiths. *So what Hadiths? Where did you bring these all millions of Fabricated Hadiths from? Where from?*

Sufism is not Islam. It is an innovation and rejected by God.
Hi there! I've just watched your collab with Genetically Modified Skeptic, it was super cool seeing you on Drew's channel and I'll definitely binge watch yours.
beautiful presentation, I had no idea that Sufism was this awesome!
*There is no any thing such as Noor-Mohammadiya. This kind of Shirk is followed by Corrupted Jaahil Mushrik Sufis. Quran makes very clear that Mohammad was Prophet of God, and he was a mortal man like all other mortal men 18:110, and his Sole Duty was to deliver Quran and go back **29:18**, 5:99, **3:20**, **42:48**. No any so called Noor-Mohammadiya. Prophet Mohammad was mere an Agency of God = Divine Postman. This is why, as soon as revelations of Quran were completed; within a short period he died. This is why, he left behind NO ANY MANUSCRIPT except written Quran*
Excellent Display of the Knowledge and Wisdom!
According to Islam, Mary can have a Son without a man touching her. But inorder for Allah to have a Son , he needs a wife.
What? Can you explain it more?
@@experience741 Quran 6 - 101.. Allah says He can't have a Son without Mate ..
But Muslims defends the above verse by saying Allah does not need any wife.
Muslims are deciding themselves what Allah should need or not need. .😁😁
@johnson Allah is not a Woman to give birth to a baby, that's first.
Second Allah isn't Male or Female, and the word Son in the Semitic Bible was used as a way of endearment not biological
@@med8895 Your Allah himself is telling that he cannot have a Son without Wife...😁😁
@@med8895 well if your God is omnipotent then the surah doesn't need to exist at all. Because it's indicate that Allah in order to has child need mate and not because his own power. I mean omnipotent being could use just his word to create child. "Let there be child"
You exquisitely present 💝 this topic, concepts and translation.
Period.
Literally who asked
@@monkeymoment6478 i asked
@@monkeymoment6478 bruh don’t kill the mood like that
The fact that you begin your argument with a crap like ''western thought has/had poor capacity for esoteric/spiritual stuff" is uncalled for at its best and incorrect at worst. The implicit assumption of oriental monopoly in spiritual matters is the first thing you have to look into with more rational humility.
Aristotelian tradition is an innovation too. You literally have ash'aris talking about Allah with zero knowledge by denying His attributes.
Amazing video. Especially the part about the entification of God was truly mind-blowing.
Angela's Symposium referred your content. I'm looking forward to hearing your work.
You are great, you are legendary. You have much knowledge. Thank you great one.
Thanks again for the series
Thank you so much Filip! This is amazing stuff!
Impeccable work and true scholarship. Gratitude 🙏
I am not a Muslim or a language purist but the fact that Arab scholars, especially the religious ones, kind of are language purists allows me to learn a language which simultaneously has modern applications despite being essentially medieval and about as distant from the languages I’m fluent in as a language can be since even lexical influence from colonial languages is negligible in fusha
I don’t know anything about northern Indian or Persian languages so I am not qualified to defend the idea that they share an ancient ancestor with European languages tbh. I kind of just accept the consensus among experts on this subject which I realize is not infalible but “indo-European” is just the widely accepted category I used to distinguish my better known languages from Arabic
@@adriantepesut Are you an Aryan so that you can call yourself an Indo-European? Are you not one of the modern Europeans who killed the indigenous people?
@@عليياسر-ذ5ب I am Dacian. I don’t know and I don’t care too much if that’s aryan by anyone’s standards be they Hitler or Gandhi. I was just trying to say that Arabic is completely unrelated to the languages I already know well
@@adriantepesut The Arabic language is one of the Semitic languages
I am learning so much from watching your episodes … thank you 🙏🏻
It is important to note that philosophy is not what is believed, but how.
The essence is known by the qualities and the qualities are known by the forms.
This is great! Stuff that I didn't know that I wanted to know. Thanks!
Be it known:
Through the Holy Spirit, God has put it on me to preach to those lost in the devil's deceit!
I tell ye, truly, Jesus of Nazareth is the propitiation for the whole world's sins. He is the anointed one, for he is, Jesus Christ. God the Father has raised him from the dead; who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God! Angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by him. They who believe and are baptized with the Holy Spirit shall be saved; but they who believe not shall be damned. For they who believe not on him, shall die in their sins!
I tell ye now to repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon asking the Father!
There are *NO* sub-divisions of Christianity. You're either a disciple of Christ or not. A Christian is someone who follows God's word, not a religion. Who obey the Father and follow his will; not man's nor their own heart's. Unless you keep Jesus' commandments, think not the Holy Spirit will dwell within you!
They who heed this message and did what was stated with an open heart to God...
Read the Holy Bible (KJV) daily and every time before you read, pray to the Father and ask:
"Lord I ask that you give me understanding of your word, that I interpret it the way you want me to, and none of my own. I ask you in Jesus' name, amen."

Really good. I was looking forward too this and it did not disappoint. good content Sir. I noticed that it may have broke my mind in a good way.
An excellent presentation in the right direction
Thank you. The idea that the superlunary world is/was non material was an idea that I kept missing.
Man i watch first video at 36k subscribers, now it's over 400k 👍👍👍 way to go
