@@captaininsano5205 Thankfully I’m too old to have encountered this. I saw numerous serious injuries in my career, once even witnessing a 13 year old boy get his back broken in a pre-season tournament in the late 80’s in Edmond, OK. The young man was paralyzed for life. I myself dislocated my shoulder in high school and had to have the coach pop it back in along with displaced cartilage on my nose and numerous broken fingers. I cannot fathom the exponentially higher risk of a female competing against a male. Certainly the boys are cautioned before the match to be very careful not to injure their female opponent.
I was not third in the nation and an above average wrestler would have destroyed these girls these girls are making these mostly below average boys look good I saw 1 kid he got an inside cradle it was over real quick but he knew what he was doing
I notice a pattern in the girls. They tend not to shoot; they counter and go all defensive from the start. Maybe that's the smart play, or maybe it's so risky and they are only trying to go the distance, whether they win or not.

Come on, you were on a "3-time State Champion HS wrestling team"? So was your mom. Nobody that wrestled leads out with what the team they were on did. Wrestling is an individual sport. The only one that cares about team achievements are the non-wrestlers.
But yeah, no hardened muscle, and females just can't drop the weight. I remember wrestling "girls." They would be doughboys. Fat boys that came out for the wrestling team just because no one else was in the weight class, and they could get a letter.
Amen brother... Was trying to say the same in a comment but I guess I tried to keep it a little less abrasive...🤣🤣🤣
@@MrLukefrisbee his team may have been like mine.. most of us went to states and did well and most of us did well in college too. State Championship teams are a true tribute to that coach. Like he said "those animals" . I personally went 56&2, but more impressive was the team was undefeated during regular season.
@@10XBULL Thanks for the back up. Lol

All hail Testosterone!. Boy power 💥
Oh they will probably keep it up assaulting women for the rest of their lives. Shame on all the parents. Where are you mothers.
What if two of these young folks meet up later on at a party? That might be a bit awkward after all of this incidental contact.
@@jimdriscoll5146 you should stop taking whatever you are taking.
@@jimdriscoll5146 Stop being delusional, totally nothing wrong with beating up an opponent in a fair contest. Besides if there's anyone you should be angry with, it's the people who made these dumb arrangements and toxic feminism overall. If women wanna pretend they're equal or better than man then why feel pity for them. In fact we should be commending the boys for being good sportsmen and using equality to their advantage✌
That first match was the very definition of riding time. Most boy girl matches follow the same script. Boy immediately takes girl down. Girl spends rest of the match on her stomach trying to avoid the pin.
As a referee, you are right on the money
At younger ages, it's more of a level playing field. Some of these girls displayed some excellent skills. But skills alone, against an opponent who has skills AND brawn, doesn't usually mix well. Once puberty arrives, "Mr T" kicks in and the boys start bulking up. Not much contest after that in matches that rely heavily on speed and/or strength.
Yeah, and the girls had heart, they made a good representation, I just don't see .....what's the shame in being champion in women's divisions? Why encroach where you're not wanted, and many feel don't belong? What are they proving? That they can nag their way into anything? Hell, I KNEW that already.
@@If6turnsouttobe9 Yep, I agree. You can see the defeat and disappointment on their faces. They had some GREAT skills, but then the reality sets in when they remember Mom and Dad saying "Yes honey, you can do EVERYTHING as well as a boy". Not always true, and kind of a disservice to the girls, in my opinion. As you said, we decided ages ago that in matches that rely heavily on speed and/or strength, there needs to be separate leagues.

That's more action than I ever got in high school!
If he wins he beat a girl no victory for him. If he loses he will never hear the end of it. I had to wrestle a few girls and I treated them like any other opponent. I set up the spladle and the humiliation begins.
Exactly, if he wins, well then he just beat a girl and should be ashamed of doing that. If he loses, well then hahaha you just lost to a girl. There is no up side for him.
Personally just went for a quick stick. They didn't usually get past the first in an actual meet. Some of these guys are definitely having WAYY too much trouble, or enjoying themselves too much. The idea of throwing some chick around for 6 mins to feel like a better wrestler just doesn't sit right for me 🤷.
Woman's coach: How do they have 6 points already?
Well we're not competing in a spelling bee here.
😂😂
Respect for the guys too, they have to go out and pretend like it's a real competition while avoiding placing their fingers in any naughty places out of eye shot of the audience

@@cyndyr8938 You would believer wrong.
The fact that any of these matches lasted longer than 20 seconds is a testament to these girls’ skill and luck in drawing an opponent that was not yet at a top level. Any top 10 male opponent would’ve destroyed them in under 20 guaranteed. Before any of you trolls respond, you need to understand I was 3rd in the nation in college, so needless to say, I have some experience.
I had to wrestle a girl my sophomore year in high school. I wasn’t all state or anything like but always made it regionals but I was scared to death lol thankfully I pinned her in less than twenty I would have never loved it down.
Skill at stalling and flexibility
what's your name, i want to look you up.
these ladies are beasts though! they will do well in life, takes some serious heart.
Takes a lot of courage to go up against someone that’ll beat you and not forfeit 😅
I notice a pattern in the girls. They tend not to shoot; they counter and go all defensive from the start. Maybe that's the smart play, or maybe it's so risky and they are only trying to go the distance, whether they win or not.
The men are bests, the ladies are less...
All those girls, bless their hearts 😉
Dude at 22:00 was trying so hard not to grab cake 😂
The modern culture promotes the ideal of equality with movies showing women beating up men and so forth. This clip is a stark reminder that ideals and reality may clash and that reality is a stubborn opponent.
I wrestled a girl once. I wrestled at 171 in High School, so you can bet your ass she was a big girl. She was as tall as I am (6'2") and she was a long distance runner in track so she had stamina for days. She was tough that's for sure, but she lacked the strength to get any holds on me. I managed to lock in a cradle and got the pin. I remember her boyfriend tried starting shit with me as we were leaving, saying he didn't like the way I was touching her. My buddy had a great comeback but I won't repeat it on here. Anyway, We destroyed their team with everyone but 2 of us getting pins.
obviously she likes being touched that way.

what are the age up to ones mix matches are allowed?
as you can see, when you get to the older, bigger boys, the matches are over very quickly. i still think in most of these videos they putting up the biggest girls against the smallest and weakest boys and the boys still win.
IDK I wrestled from the age of 9 by the time I was a freshman I was wrestling at 191 down from 225 from football season weight, at 15 I was benching close to 300 and squatting 500. by my sophmore year I could pin anyone on my team within a round, I would have toy'd and punished any female who got on the mat with me though it never happened, imagine a female weighing 191, they would have been all fat, I have never seen a healthy porportioned female weigh that much regardless I did that to any male I wrestled aswell, I almost never pinned a oponent rather I would technical them off the mat scoring 15 unanswered points which to me is utterly embarassing them and taking their soul from them.....

I think the boys are just enjoying making these matches last a long time.
I don't get why they have girls wrestling boys. Here in Texas girls compete against girls and boys against boys just like every other sport.
17:50 good sportsmanship from the guy.
A shame the girl couldn’t respect it
Watched a couple of these videos and something stands out--screamingly stands out! These "girls" are in not condition to wrestle boys in the same weight category. true they did decent, but they do need to have their own league. then we would see some interesting matches. these had some damn good skills just not the ability to handle the boys. again i give them all props at least the ones who made the boys work for those points. especially the one that kept doing the half splits, that's just unfair to most of the guys...lol although there are a few that can do the same i was one that could, made it harder to roll me easily. which was where he was having trouble as well.

My kid had to wrestle a blind Iraqi kid and you started with your hands on each other which gave the blind kid an advantage, and he was good.
And that's the problem which was evident in all these matches, boys are clearly concerned of where they lace their hands.
i bet the guys are loving this.

What is the weight class 130 ish? These girls are a lot better than expected.
I hated having to wrestle girls back in high school. It was annoying. I took no pleasure in it. I actually felt dishonored. That this person the opposing team put before me had zero chance. Respect to the girls that tried though. And wish for a women's circuit just for them
Is this new? This is my first time seeing males wrestling the ladies. My hats off to the guys for being able to be this close to the women and not lose focus. @19:06 a nice young man picked up the girl and lightly placed her down to avoid hurting his competition. Shouldn’t have to do that but it was nice of him.
So ya, here's the thing.
First boy: sub par skills for age. Maybe concerned where to put hands at times. Couldn't do much, even being a tad stronger.
First girl: Perhaps closer to age appropriate skill level, for boys. Wouldn't give up or give her back to mat. On par strength, with boy.
That would all change at or just before collegiate level. Like, by a lot. A LOT LOT.
