The joy of being able to go full throtle for long periods of time on a 3 lane road with not too much traffic. Speedometer stuck at 299, your mates are with you, bike is screaming like mad. You feel absolutely invencible, the world is yours. Oh god how I miss my bike, still planning on getting a sportsbike again after my accidente last year. This time I'll go for the thousand cc's. Dreaming about having a trip to the autobahns, and letting free the beast I carry inside. Love the feeling of white lanes passing by faster and faster to the point they are just a blur. By the way I've always liked What Is Love and it fits very well in my opinion, still gives me chills every time. Even though, all of us would appreciate a non music version with the original sound being uploaded. Cheers.

That 299 is fake. I have a ZX10 my self and when I went 189 on it and it looks WAY faster than that. Even if he was going 299 on that for real, he wouldn't be able to hang on and your ass better be laying down on that bike but he wouldn't be able to hang on. When I was going 189 on my ZX10, I was laying on it so I can hang on but when I lift myself off of that bike the screen on my helmet popped open and made a loud pop and scared the shit out of me. When I let go of the gas it felt like the bike wanted to jerk you forward off of the bike. So if you were going 299, when he lets go of the gas he would probably get thrown off the bike.
+Do It With Dan but I think when that thing says 299, they think it does go 299 because nobody would take apart the whole bike for no reason just so it can say 299.

Just bought same year zx-10r. I have a stretched, lowered, unrestricted '05 Hayabusa and somehow the zx just feels faster. Crack the throttle in first or second and it powers the front end up easily. Stay safe out there.
At 299 k/m which is 186 mph the speed limiter shuts it down so it won't go any faster. With that defeated it should go over 200 mph. Good vid , this guy has stones. I have an '07 purchased new , had it to 185 twice but only for a few moments. At that speed everything is a bit blurry which you have to get used to to ride like that all the time.

I have done similar speeds on my 2006 Zx10R. My speedo read 178mph. Silly question: was your throttle pinned? I remember one of my friends said to me: How fast were you going? I told him I was doing 178mph. He told me ....I was doing 186mph and I could not catch you. That ZX10R is scarry fast and all that power is at the top of the rev range...Your eyes and your mind almost do not have time to adjust to the incredible sensation of speed. Bikes that come to the United states are limited to 185 MPH no matter the bore size.....really sux ass....Respect to you guys over there...great riding
I will probably never go this fast for 1 second in my life for fear of getting arrested but for 10 minutes flat out....speechless! Nice! Still too many cars. This should be the speed limit of the left passing lane at all times.

It's not a display issue, all road bikes are limited to 299KPH if you wan't to remove it you can try a flash / reprogramme of your ECU or buy a MOTEC or HRC kit ECU (if your lucky enough to get hold of one)
I wonder if people notice the absolute top speed of any stock road bike is 299, and then it goes no further. That is by manufacture design. None of them go beyond 299 unless you modify them, and they can go faster.
