I honestly don't even know why I'm writing this. But il give it a go, I had the pleasure of mettimg Marc. He is a sincere, humble man. I asked him for an autograph for my little nephew and then he asked me for my address, I was a little shock. I can believe that I met him in Bessemer Alabama with my elderly mother and he was nice to me and hugged my mama made her smile wide as the Grand Canyon
I think its because Bagwell isn't fucked up that he cant speak properly or isn't whining about every motherfucking thing in his career like others do. Even the negative stuff he made light of.
I've always thought that Vince really screwed up by not signing Buff Bagwell to a real contract. The guy had a ton of potential, and it's almost like he was tailor made for WWF. You see how well guys like Jericho and Eddie Guerrero, and Rey Mysterio did after the transition, to deny that to Bagwell was just plain stupid.
Can't compare Buff Bagwell to legends like Eddie and Jericho, he wasn't even that good a wrestler which was why he got fired so quickly and had one of the worst attitudes backstage
Well he assaulted a work colleague(Shane Helms), he wonders why they kept him home that weekend I’m guessing HR and management we’re doing an investigation. Buff is delusional to believe otherwise!
Yeah. I'm the same age as Buff and RVD. Working out and staying Natty simultaneously is a human-beings fountain of youth. People i first meet always think i'm many years younger than my chronological age.
Was never a Bagwell fan in WCW, but the guy does a real good interview. Explains things and wrestling terms in real good detail without rambling on like some guys do.
This was actually an excellent interview with Buff Bagwell! I still feel he has plenty to offer in the ring and I think he can make a good comeback if he wrestled in Japan!
He seems like a pretty straight up dude. The kind of guy you could hang out with and drink a beer. I know he has stories for days about the WCW era. When wrestling was still worth a shit
Wow, Buff looks good and my goodness he's been through some rough times but I'm so glad that he's gotten back to being the Buff we all remember! I used to love watching this guy in WCW and felt he was overlooked. Thanks for another great interview, Chris!
Buff Bagwell he was a lot better than he got credit for, and at one point he was one of my favorites in WCW. He had charisma and mic skills, that's for sure! I loved when he hit The Blockbuster on his opponent.
WWE should hire Chris as an announcer. The way he delivers certain questions and comes off approachable and cool as a pickle is great to watch. Buff on the other hand needs to take his ass to church lol
i always liked buff bagwell his entrance dance was so legendary it got me to like wrestling when i saw my cuzin imitate it so cooly back then, always wondered why i never saw him much :(
no, he burned his bridges with WWE management like few others have. He's on the very-short-list of wrestlers who will never (and in the words of Chris Jericho) EEEEEVER get called back again.
FerretJohn how thou? from this interview he didn't mention anything of that sort and he seemed geniuoly honest. he said he had a meeting with vince and all he said was that he was being released. you're wrong if you think he wouldn't of fit in well, he was a very colorful and fun guy to watch. but obviously now he wouldn't get a call, he's way past his prime and i'm sure wwe doesn't want to deal with his injuries either
OneButton Dash Read the post just above yours for a short description of how he got fired, then listen a little more carefully to this interview. Multiple inconsistencies in Bagwells statements, saying pilots in Desert Storm was touching his picture for luck? Even if Desert Storm wasn't well over by that time the ego to make that claim was just staggering. Bagwell was a midcard wrestler who gained success more by being friends with Nash, Steiner, and Luger and playing the backstage politics. When he moved to the WWE he thought he could play the same games he did in WCW, he was wrong
because he was terrible when they turned wwe into wcw after raw went off the air his matches were terrible, so they got rid of him. his bs and crap he pulled in wcw dont help either since he only got pushed cause was friends with guys with actual talent.
A Buff Bagwell story about his WWE experience belongs on the Mt Rushmore of greatest stories ever told by Buff Bagwell. Followed by his neck stories, telling us his age, “not hesitating in climbing that hill”, etc

Desert Storm was in 1991. Buff Bagwell's neck injury happened in 1998, which is when he said soldiers who were wrestling fans during Desert Storm liked him and wanted him to return as a face after his neck injury. None of this adds up at all.
Buff would be great for a once-in-a-while match up against some rookies from NXT! Buff has proven that wrestlers should overcome their adversaties. With Sean O'Haire's recent passing, Buff shows you can overcome your depressions and keep on moving forward! Buff is the Stuff!

Social media was NOT big in 2001 and he was still a random, white meat babyface during Desert Storm. Also, history/hindsight has shown us that Shane McMahon "owning" WCW was a work from WWF's side.
I remember when he and Scotty Riggs had their feud and broke up (as many tag groups tend to), and we first saw Bagwell execute the Blockbuster. It was one of the coolest finishes I had seen at the time.
That was a really interesting interview. Buff is still the stuff for sure! Does not age it seems. Interesting to hear about the WWF buy out and how they all knew nothing. Crazy really.
Wait a minute Buff said when WCW went out of business Rick Steiner and his mom were tag champs but in a different interview he says him and Luger were champs
I enjoyed listening to this a lot more than I expected to, given that I wasn't watching much of wcw when he was at his peak there. Its making me want to youtube some stuff for sure.

Chris isn't so good. I could out announce him with my microphone tied behind my back. He thinks he's the feature. Bagwell is the feature.
