I made my Spotify for Artists account but I still can't get access on that account on main Spotify. Got the same name and the same account but the pitcure is different and in comparison to Spotify for Artists, my account from Spotify doesn't have the checkmark. Please help.

@@distrokid if you want to put your first release on spotify via distrokid, do you need to have an artist account beforehand, or do you set up the artist account on distrokid when you're distributing a song? I'm just confused whether I should make a new Spotify account now and claim it as an artist before i use distrokid or if i should use distrokid first.
