The greatest honor for one of our greatest heroes. GOD BLESS AMERICA. And may the Lord bless the souls of our fallen heroes.

Tears, prayers, and salutations for the fallen. Many sacrifice for freedom and the mistakes of the few.

The young man deserved multiple purple hearts. Being denied the disability benefits probably shortened his life by 30 years. Possibly longer.

Never ceases to amaze me how POC who have been treated so badly by this nation fight like lions to protect it. No greater heroes.

I still do not understand how we can call ourselves Americans and defend a system of oppression, which so treated other Americans as less than human. I salute you, sir, as a hero, SGT Johnson, Essayons, Sappers lead the way!

My granfather fought in WW1, got gassed and wounded. No medals no pension. He died of bone cancer (from poison gas) at 64 yrs old. God bless his soul.

Thank God he heard the sound of the wire cutters. He must have been fighting on complete adrenaline with 21 wounds. Shame on the US army for what they did to him. God bless him.
