- Keeping in mind a few months have passed since Sonic and Tails stopped Shadow, Sonic has not had another incident with his dark transformation, and Tails' research into the emeralds has turned up nothing. Everyone is starting to adjust back to their lives before Shadow threatened everyone. We find Tails with Amy and Cream at the mall (Cheese wasn't feeling too well) and life goes on, but it changes once more with a sudden appearance of Metal Sonic and Silver. History repeats itself as in the case of Dark Sonic vs Super Tails.
Huge thanks to shadow759 for all that he taught me in SFM as well as providing the black bars overlay. Prior to him stepping in, this video was not going to turn out like it is today (remember the scrapped footage?)

God I remember when this first came out I as only 15 years old and was really in love the sonic fandom but sadly as time moved on I became distant from the fandom and moved on to other things.. I'm 22 now and recently started getting back into sonic stuff so seeing this masterpiece animation really brings me back to the old days and fills me with A lot of nostalgia and happiness (Thank you Mike for all the wonderful times and memories you made with your videos)

Now if only silver gets his justice too. Very underrated and is pretty top tier but always dunked on.

Thank God there's content creators like you Mark, who gives Tails justice. If this were Tails from Forces, Tails would run away yelling for Sonic and leave Amy and Cream with Silver.

That's more on the lousy writing of Forces and not so much Tails as a character. They pretended as if Sonic Adventure never happened. All the characters seem useless in that game.

Yeah, they nerfed silver quite a bit here. However, silver isn't fighting at his best cause of that chip anyhow.
Seeing Tails get beat up like that made my heart cry. But at least in this animation he was brave, and determined, instead of relying on Sonic.
Tails certainly is a true hero who managed to free Silver from the servitude chip.
Let me just say, this has to be the best animation i have ever seen. I'm glad you didnt make Tails into a punching bag, like everyone else who does sonic related things...and that includes sega.....does. He actually held his own without needing help. Im looking forward to seeing more from you. And now i have go through your vids and watch more of these.

dude, tails should be doing a lot more things in recent games other than standing around. even in the sonic boom episodes, tails is kinda hopeless and ive never seen him use his tail attack or his arm cannon or anything. bring back tails.

Sonic Team should definitely make a game like this. Imagine modern Sonic-like speeds but in the sky. With the camera behind your back like at 0:42 and stellar controls it could be a hit. It could have Ratchet and Clank style missions. The style of gameplay focused on different uses of machinery could be revolutionary. Since Tails is an inventor he could use material obtained from defeated robots and elements/gems to invent tools/weapons on the spot. This is incredible!

8 years ago I was 12 in after watching this fan animation, I just turned 20 and I’m still back here watching 😂 safe to say this one of the things that got me interested in doing animation

I'm 21 now, there was a time in my late childhood where I was a huge sonic fan who watched a bunch of Sonic Sprite videos on UA-cam because I was obsessed with fan made sonic videos.
Watching this brought me back to those times.
It would be cool if you reanimated the fight with your current style.
I can't get over that tailswipe Tails gave in this video.

Hectic action non-stop, the foreshadowing of a bigger plot with Metal Sonic, Tails fighting on his own like a badass, defending Amy and Cream.

His World, one of the best title songs Sonic ever got, is a great choice for soundtrack.
Then you look at Sonic Team/Sega, and all they're doing for 5 years straight, is retarded sitcom comedy for seniors like Sonic Colors, Lost World and Boom.
