It was fun watching him play for Duke. Seeing his high school highlights you could tell he was NBA ready. His in a grown man body at 20-21. Seems like a really good kid too. Glad to see him having early success in his career.
He just turned 20 like 6 weeks ago. Crazy how NBA ready he is from a body standpoint.
I'm not surprised his game is there because like he says he's played a lot against pros
It’s absolutely insane that anyone was even arguing Holmgren vs Paolo from the jump. That said, I hope Chet gets back to 100% and gets to do what’s needed to show his true talent in the league.
@@prn718 Sorry but its not insane by any stretch. First and foremost you don't draft at the top for what they do halfway through their rookie year, its early.
Secondly we haven't seen how Chet plays in an NBA season at all - he brings different elements to the game like high level rim protection. On top of that Smith was also in contention for #1, he will likely be a great player at some point.
So the notion of it being insane that anyone was arguing simply for Chet over Paolo is ridiculous. He has been very good but its very early and a lot of things could happen. Look at the Wiggins/Parker/Embiid trio for example
Like a dad knowing that's the last time they can beat their kid at a sport. You gotta end on a win. Lol
More like a guy who knows a competitor when he sees one and isn’t going to show the bag
Jamal the type of dude to hold this over you even after you win 2 mvps 3 scoring tithes and a dpoy 😂
As he should 😂😂
“That nigha couldn’t Fw me in his prime 😂😂😂 i beat em at 42”
walks by yelling 1-0 baby lol
No he’s not but okay 👍🏽
That was his whole point of playing him after a pick up game ONE TIME . He knew he’d catch the young bull slipping and be able to talk abt it forever
Jamal said .. that was to close for comfort lol
Paolo is a huge guy for a guy that just turned 20 years old man, He’s really gonna be a problem
didnt even get to experience a proper nba offseason yet, hes gonna be a monster next season
He’s already a problem. Way better than I thought he’d be this early on
@@L4-295 He looks like he's been in the league 3 years already. Imagine when he actually gets 3 years worth of experience
no cap he stan on bidness! fr doh he gone be a praaaaaaaablem. on gawd.
Lmao 🤣🤣🤣 Jamal Crawford gonna say you never beat me 1 on 1 in your life
😂
Nobody understands we really have nothing to do but hoop for 8 months of the year. Its dark and raining 😂
Same for Indiana. During the winter there are no lakes or hills that you could play hockey or ski so the only thing to do is play basketball.
Football
Then why don’t the best players come from Alaska or Canada if you’re gonna use that as reasoning?
@@L4-295 You also need people 😅
@@L4-295 mario chalmers is from alaska, and a bnch of hoopers come out of canada
He still looks salty about not running it back 😂😂
Wouldn't u be?
you gotta have a chance for the getback smh lol. but im sure jamal knows paolo would be elevating his game to another level real soon haha
@@Munchkkinz facts and u gotta think about it Jamal is only 42 going insane still now imagine bron….
Nall u just messy
What do you mean he LOOKS salty? He literally said he was, don't need to look like anything
I lived about an hour and a half north of Seattle and my parents and team knew the best competition was down south so we’d be down there damn near every weekend in tournaments. Some of the most competitive and best basketball I played.
amazing interview guys
the goat JJ
Nah Jamal knew he would never beat him again he was like he’s ready
Man miss the days when Jamal and jj was on the clips
And because of the nurse (opps, I mean Doc) we got nuttin' to show for it!
#whyhestillgotajob
#andJdont
Dat boy big as hell
Massive….he’s going to be a monster in a few years. ROY for now. The league is in good hands.
Oms
What scary is he "only" 6'10"....
@@dannymcguire3623 ain’t even skinny like that either big legs n calfs
Paolo is HUGE! JJ not a big guy but he's not a small guy and he looks tiny sitting next to Paolo. I know the chairs are different heights so it may distort it but still....
If you go to a game, you realize he’s much bigger than he appears on TV. Something about his proportions makes it an optical illusion. Dude is huge and strong.
Suns Legend 🙌🏾
It's a travesty that J crossover left the league with gas still in the tank
Agreed
📠
206 baby 🤝🏾
As an Orlando Magic fan my favorite team outside was the Sonics.. If they ever being then back.. I'd understand..
I love not being from a big city, lose out as a kid being raised there…
Nah man this dude is a giant lmaoo
Bro this guy is huge sitting next to jj
100% FACTS
yall shouldnt be surprised seattle a hoop city, it raining 25/9 here
Seattle just got on that list within the last 10 years maybe before that it was just Nate Robinson and Jamal Crawford. Before then Chicago and New York were always 1 and 2 (whatever order) then Philly, DC, LA. Now bc the way Aau is and how kids go to out of state schools to hoop they come from everywhere now in bunches.
We should all give JJ his props he was the 1st to really check sas and really put him in his place.
Chill Max did it a bunch of times
Skip did too, he’s reaching terribly
Kyrie been did it, not to mention many players off camera have lol
@@BigBen1994 pretty sure he meant on camera live obviously 🙄 he's wrong but you're WAY OFF
Kenyon Martin Jr
Damn that dude looks huge!!
Well the Puget Sound region does seem to produce more NBA players than similar sized metro areas but as the #13 media market which is a convenient way to compare large population areas I'd say were more like #7-#10 in NBA players depending if you're just taking right now or maybe over the last 10-20 years.
Trying to get out of soy city
@@holdonproductions6087 Sounds like a personal problem. Don’t kno why you thought it relevant to this comment. Kinda “soy”
@@holdonproductions6087 Get a job, save some money and move. It's really simple.
I would be top 5 if you look at quality and quantity. Some states like Indiana or Virgina push above WA but Seattle as metro pushes way above it’s weight for NBA talent. I think there is like 14-15 guys from the Seattle metro currently on NBA rosters. A few other guys who went to HS in Seattle but weren’t born in the area.
❤❤❤
Tell us about the time you went one on one with Dejaunte Murray.
He gave him buckets still too tho
There will be more one on one's to come dont worry
I was in the SPU court when they went 1v1, DM a bucket, but Paulo was getting by him every time. He missed a couple, but once he got in a rhythm DM really couldn’t do anything about it. They both very solid though and I think they’re both on the come up
Shoutout to Spencer Hawes
An intelligent kid.
If Jamal lost, he would have run it back until he won, then said “I’m done”. 😂
Jamal Crawford can legitimately drop 30 on everyone favorite player
He looks like Jared Dudley reincarnated 😂
Seattle has a top 5 argument. #1 is probably LA. NYC is a bit down but still probably #2. I'd put Chicago at #3. The DMV at #4, per capita based. Then it's probably between Philly and Seattle for #5.
He looks like ol girl from Floetry.
I think LA, Bay Area, Detroit, Chicago and NYC are top 5. DMV area has some real dudes like KD.
Nah la and Chicago your right but in the last 10-15 years seattle produce more ballers then Detroit the bay and New York I would say Houston Atlanta gotta be in there
Facts we all gonna play each other atleast once or someone that went far if u played Seattle aau
ROY
Only three dribbles for the possession? Geeze, these are specific rules! I’ve never heard of that before.
You’ve never watched 1on1 then
then you don’t hoop at all. Like at ALL lmfao
@@L4-295right pretty common, king of the court etc
Solid way to work on your finishing
People have been doing this for years. I remember watching KD winning King of the court during USA team practices against PG, Middleton, Jimmy Butler and more
When your projected to be an elite player you better expect that to be the the only time to play an OG lol, so they can keep it over your head the rest of your career!😂
Idky I thought Paolo would talk like Tony Parker or something
All it does it's rain so makes sense haha lock in and hoop
This guy gonna be better than Zion he the real lebron Jr
Don't know why J-Crossover ain't on a team as an off the bench 10-15 minute microwave hooper/shooter!
What he do wrong!
#yoLakers
Paolo dwarfing JJ, looks like a fake thumbnail
Nah fam you have to give someone a chance to run it back 😂
Keep in mind he loss to Jamal Crawford in his 40s l😂 it would’ve been worst if it was prime Jamal
Dannng 60-80$ hoodies TF
Ik he was mad asf he couldn’t get that rematch😭
Three dribbles? J would probably have won 5-2 in a six dribble match?😂
every nba player 1v1 is three dribbles
@@lucasnogueira1137 okay but doesn't take anything away from what I'd said tho💁🏽♂️
@@nochill9722 it wasnt meant to sorry if it came across that way
Props to you guys on this back and forth, could've gotten very immature very quickly.
@@lucasnogueira1137 no need to apologize fam✌🏽👍🏽 I just think J-crossover is one of the greats, glad to see he's been talked about every once in a while
That’s a word from a boss who knows his worker is already good to go
You’ll be surprised .. well then name some
I would've done the same thing. 😂😂😂
Nate Robinson Isaiah Thomas Jamal Crawford... can you name a few more?
Never again no Never again
I wouldnt say that story is “legendary”
Top 5 ur buggin. NY, LA, Chicago, Atlanta, Philly, Dallas, St Louis >
Ny used to have hoopers not no more
I live here it's top heavy. Yea alot people came out of here but the culture is lacking like a mf. Local scene is trash, I.E. if your not in college or in some fancy AAU or pro leage you can't find anyone that's about that hoop life Can't go to no park or anywhere cuz nobody wants to hoop in the rain, there's not many local gyms or community gyms. Everyone's a la fitness hooper. everyone soft asf, it's too cold, or aw it's too this or not enough that or, oh you breathed on me that's a foul. Mugs can't handle trash talking either. I'm from Chicago. Sorry seatle ain't top 5.
7
Nah my dude hold that L
Top 5 is major CAP.
This was a legendary story?
He trippn no one heard of Seattle
What are you talking about 15 out of the 30 teams in the nba have seattle players do your research not including college Gonzaga is based in Washington state they go to the final 4 almost every year
@@Fire55201 ya it says ranked 11 I always loved where the competition is much better in sports and that’s the south
Every basketball elite has that 1ON1 story that they don’t talk about.. like Mj playing 1ON1 with kobe and lebron….. nobody is gonna say what happened… or they’ll be a little exposed…
How is this a legendary story? Lol
Qtna lol
Come on now the he's a kid not much time to make legend yet.
Its not like Kobe who could tell you a story from 1998 and you have to think back to the time, this Kid was trying to do that "yeah i got a story from way back" and it was 6 months ago 🤣 let the boy live
@@jasonu3741 true my bad lol 😂 my statement was more focused on the clickbait title than anything just to get views
A good town but come on- all the best athletes come from not New York not la, those are the most overrated. They come from Carolinas and alabamas etc . Country. We all know why. Slavery and massive black pop .
Lol Seattle is not even top 15
There is like 15 dudes in the league from Seattle.
Seattle, LMAO!!!!
There’s 30 teams in the nba seattle ballers are on half of those teams from charolott,Portland timberwolves, Chicago,Orlando Philly ,Brooklyn Houston ,Milwaukee bucks Atlanta,Denver, raptors, wizards
