This is much more joyful than where I live! In big cities of china fireworks and firecrackers are forbidden, the store is closed, no one is on the street cuz they go back to their hometown. The only thing I could do is stay at home and watch your video lol. Your video is the only thing that makes me feel Chinese New Year really comes hahahaha
Very cool walk. Mott street looks like I imagine old New York must have looked like. Loved the dragon dancer part (Kirin dance?). Thanks for sharing this cultural moment. -Henry
Your videos are fascinating to watch. I have never been to NYC, but every time I watch one of your videos walking through the streets, makes me feel as if I have just been there. All the more fascinating is the size of Manhattan's Chinatown and the crowds of people out celebrating. Thank you so much, from a fan and subscriber.

Happy lunar Chinese New Year 🍊(Chinese New year parade going to be on the 17 of February 2019)
I'm surprised they didn't have this event in Times Square.
Maybe they can host an event on a smaller scale but nowhere near the splendor of the traditional New Year
Looks like the weather was decent this day, at least the sun was out. 🌞 Good Video
I have walked with you and enjoyed the multi cultural spirit of New York. Mott st looks like the heart of China town. So much confetti ! It will require an industrial scale clean up. Looked like every new Yorke with Chinese connection has come out to enjoy. The sunshine helped. Thanks.
I love the videos! Happy Chinese New Year!
This was a very busy and entertaining walk!
Chinese New Year would be one of the best days to head to a Dim Sum restaurant in the NYC area. Jing Fong, Golden Unicorn and Asian Jewels just to name a few.
Nice and festive walk. It reminds me of San Francisco’s China town 😊
Great vid, actionkid105! Hope you received a lot of red envelopes!:-)

Im not trying to be mean but whew that drum music and beating on the symbol is very loud and annoying after awhile. Dont you think? still enjoyed the video. thank you
Thanks, not everyone enjoys the loud and annoying sounds of the instruments. It’s meant to wake up the good spirits and push out the bad.
The great melting pot
