So I’ve watched most of your Series 2 odds video and I’ve come to the conclusion…that buying SINGLES is by far the cheapest way to get big rookies in these parallels. Screw tryna pull them. They’re $40 cards, max.

I see an 8 box per household limit on Fanatics boxes. Anyone know if that’s 8 total or 8 per order? Because if the ones I’ve ordered are good I want more than 8 😂
Regular blasters are $25. Fanatics blasters are $30. Hangers are $13.

To make it fair you should of included another hanger box, they are 12.99 @ Target, also i think the only place they sell Blaster boxes for 30 is Walmart or Meyers if you live up north. So i'd call it a closer call between the hangers and fanatics boxes.
Plus if you have the target card you can knock off 5% and get free shipping, so it cuts cost a little more. Even when you get free shipping on Fanatics they hit you with a "handling" charge.
Just make sure you filter it and are only buying products sold by Target. There are some third party sellers on target's website, which I avoid.

The hatred of Stars of MLB cracks me up because even the chrome parallels get no love. I Usually pick up a few black parallels to 25 every year for much less than what you would think. $29 for a Pete Crown Armstrong black /25, I'll take it!!!
They're boring. There's just too many. I hope they drop the non chrome which makes the Chrome way more valuable. Throw in a better variety of inserts in it's place or even more base....IMO
@@carado1984 I full agree with the non chrome, they are pointless. My point was that even a good parallel has less value due to the hatred of base cards. Black Chrome /25 are extremely hard to pull, I've actually never seen one pulled in a break/opening.
The parallels are super tough pulls as well. I bought a Bobby Witt RC paper Red Stars of MLB PSA 9 for $25 last year. I think people just get numb to them after seeing a million of them.

They remind me of the old Fleer stickers and Upper Deck holofoil stickers we used to get in the late 80’s-90’s. As kids we used to stick them all over the place because we didn’t see any value to them because you got them out of every pack.
haven’t opened much of Series 2, but i’m pretty sure it’s better than series 1
Also pulled a CJ let’s play ball auto and the auto was missing
I've opened all three and the hangers and blasters were much better than the Fanatics.
You may have just gotten lucky . Those series 2 blasters are absolutely terrible . I’ve opened a whole case so far . They are garbage

I used to hate on regular blasters and last week I pulled a Merrill sp and 1/1 Mets team card so I might not give up on them yet 😁
I've only gotten two blasters but have gotten super lucky with both of them. First one had an Independence Day /76, Statue of Liberty, retial blue, gold, and a rainbow foil, second one had a team border match, retail blue, gold, rainbow, and a Hot Dog (which I've dubbed the Glizzyfractor). Still haven't pulled a Yamamoto base rookie in everything I've ripped (Jumbo, 6 hangers, 2 blasters, 4 fat packs)

I’m new to collecting mlb cards. Just curious do they release a new series every few months or is it just series 1 and 2 for the whole year?
Every few weeks is a new release of some sort.
Def a good couple fanatics boxes above average, but it also is the best format even though you can get the regular blasters for 25 easy

I have been out of the game for about 10 years now but after watching these videos... I just need to get back into it. I miss the thrill of opening packs so much. I regret ever stopping as it brings me so much joy. I need some advice to get back into things. First box in 10 years - want to spend about $70-$100. Any suggestions on the best value I could get for that price range? (Love MLB, NFL, NBA in that order). Thank you in advance.

Kerkering has a lot of energy, throws heat, and has fun.
Hes just a reliever but hes been one of the Phils main 4 relievers they use when a game actually matters: Kerk, Straum, Hoffman, and Alvarado. They brought him up just before the playoffs last year.
get rid of stars of mlb, but keep the chrome versions

Just pulled a Bryce HFA in a blaster. I bought one box expecting to just get the holiday parallels. Crazy!
Are there retail exclusive versions of the around the horn cards or is it just the base set? I opened a retail blaster yesterday and got a Joey Vatto ATH with a blue "Around the Horn" instead of the normal white border but I can't find anyone else pulling a card like that
Bought one Fanatics box, pulled a JD Martinez gold SP and a Yamamoto aqua parallel. No complaints here.
If a store has hangers and blasters, absolutely go with the hangers! I just ripped two and got an '89 blue, regular blue, rainbow foil, and yellow of my PC team, a few other colored cards, and two Elly inserts and a Shohei insert. They're cheap and have good odds!

Now that retail has guaranteed hits, Yellow, Aqua etc., there is no need for the Stars of MLB. The could keep the Chrome version and parallels, and it might give them a little value.

I like to make a few sets every year so I bought eight fanatics blasters. Got an auto, golden mirror, numbered lawlar, and an auto jersey redemption. About 25 cards short of my set. And a million parallels
Fanatics over hangers, but hangers are close if you compare 3 to a fanatics box, the floor is wayyy lower though, getting 6 parallels per 3 hanger boxes is the floor versus 11 parallels in a fanatics box

Fanatics are loaded. I recently purchased 3 from the website. They arrived extremely quickly. Loaded with parallels as you would expect. Just a ton of fun.

Opened 10 hangers didn’t really pull much. Numbered cards nothing crazy, yellow Heston kjerstead. And yellow ohtani were like my best pulls unfortunately. Still got some Yamamoto rookies and shota but it was still tough. Definitely singles is the way to go

I love watching your breaks but my experience with fanatics boxes has been horrendous. You opened two and got an auto and some killer rookies, I opened 8 and got parellels of vets that have been kicked back down to aaa. Happened in both series 1 and series 2, however for what it’s worth hobby series 2 has been amazing.
If those retail boxes are essentially resorting to Holliday parallels only they need to be different. That’s bogus they all have the same design and color scheme. Each one should have its own style. $30 for those boxes is brutal.

Steel city and Dave and Adam’s was the only place online I could find them and they were 30. In store at target they are 25 I think.

Topps website is $25, even Amazon has blasters for $25. I got 2 delivered next day. Steel City and D&A overcharge on most retail products. The Topps site is the list price. @StrykerBreaks

See, here's the problem with the Fanatics blasters: It's a retail format you can't find in retail stores. I'm not going to order blasters off a website. Blasters are a... they're a "pick me up" after work when I'm tired and shopping at Walmart and just want to relax with some cards. They're a whim purchase. If I'm ordering online, I'm going to do something better with that money than grab a few blasters, you know?
