Me realizing I’ve been watching you guys on and off since you were 21 😳 honestly though, seeing how you guys have thrived and experienced all the ups and downs of life and still manage to be a glimpse of the kind of love I’d want to have someday is so inspiring. Especially as a queer person! You guys are a beacon of positivity in the queer community you’ve created & I’m just so happy to see it and wish you guys nothing but the best in your journey. And I cant wait for the world to witness & embrace the beautiful human you guys are raising bc I know Ziggy is going to be one hell of a human! Much love to my Gemini Queens!!♥︎♥︎♥︎

@@ARINELSON93 Wow, you couldn't have said it better! I was gonna write a comment but didn't know where to start, and your comment is exactly how I feel.
I love how they've grown and that is the kind of love I would love to have. Right now I'm about to have a baby on my own, so about to experience the biggest love. But definitely would love this type of relationship in the future ❤

Having children does change a relationship. The focus on yourself morphs onto your child. It's important to get your shine back and put work into each other.

I can totally relate to what Rose said about letting go of perfection. I moved in with my wife after living my own life and having no responsibility, into a relationship where I was a step-parent to a 2 year old. Having a toddler rifling through my things, sitting on my knee while I was trying to do my make-up, waking me up at 5:30 in the morning, spilling things in my car, was all a pretty tough learning curve, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. 16 years later we have a beautiful 18 year old who just went to uni, and who is independent, intelligent, funny, and kind. And I’m learning for the first time what life is like WITHOUT a child in the home every day! It’s definitely an adjustment the other way round too. X

It’s obvious you both are KILLING IT as parents. That boy is so sweet, so smart and so kind. You’re also an amazing couple. You should be really proud of how far you’ve come.
More importantly though, how is Rose 80, but looks 25??? ❤😂

Couples have the hardest time when their kids are 11+ months. It’s a delicate time, the physical effort it takes from the primary caretaker and they get tuckered out and overwhelmed by so much physical contact. We also want to remember that you both watched different marriages growing up, some parts you liked some parts you didn’t, your partner saw different marriages and took the plus and minus and brought them to your marriage. So remember to be kind, parenting and marriage really puts a test to your ability to communicate your actual needs….
Stay Safe, Happy, be amazing communicators and don’t go to sleep grumbly..
    Peace, love and faith.

Having my son Gatsby and becoming a mom is the best thing I've ever done and no I can't remember life without him I don't want to. I used to be so much more depressed and I'd feel the need to go out all the time cuz I didn't want to be stuck in a house but now half the time I think about going out and I'm like nah I want to stay in with Gatsby and we have a great time playing ghost busters and pretending to go buy happy meals and pizza he's 3 but he makes me laugh so much everyday cause of the way he lives life and expresses himself ❤

I think its beautiful that you acknowledge you'd like more time to connect w each other, and talk about things other than your child, while also saying that you love talking about your child and that specifically the task of parenting together is so enjoyable. I think that's fine if both people in the relationship agree. It's true that people change, but so long as they both have the same general interests, or priorities in the relationship, it doesn't have to be a "problem" that you are less intimate, or that your lives are more centered around your child for a period of time. It's only a problem if you don't communicate and you aren't on the same page about it all.
This all coming from a single person lmao. Keep living the dream for me.

You both are doing a great job with Ziggy, if or when you have another child it will be a doddle for you lol…. Seriously I think in the future safety online will be much better than now,the only thing that worries me is what sort of world they will be living in going forward.

"You said you wouldn't catch my poo!" - Rosie, very, very pregnant and hormonal.
"I spoke in haste!" - Rose was traumatised by the fact that Rosie was feeling genuinely vulnerable about what she had said. The fun, piss-taking, comedic persona of Rose evaporated.
They breath life into each other. They brought another life into the world.
Through all of the fun, piss-taking, comedic, embarrassing, mental health issues, confidence, insecurity, spoken views, beliefs, challenges, attempts, agro, upsets and joy, one thing has remained constant - their love for each other.
If they ever split up, they would both be shattered husks. But, that isn't going to happen, so sit back and relax and keep an eye on one of the most entertaining, anthropological studies you will find.
    Love, a toad.
