Wow very impressive! I think the Neptunes version samples drums from Prince's song "Walk Don't Walk," as does "Excuse Me Miss" by Jay-Z (another Neptunes production).
It could definitely be inspired by since P is a big Prince fan. Those drums are from a Triton and some sample packs so who knows. Good look! Never knew about that. I do know that it does grab some inspiration from “Ain’t No Nigga” by Jay Z as well. It’s cool how influences work.
