The Neo fits in my jacket pocket just fine. Its camera is also more protected with a gimbal cover. With the latest update, it now tracks much faster, apparently up to 35 kph. And of course, with the controller RTH and 2-3km range (battery life limited)
Could be worse. The new Hoverair X1 pro is about NZ$850 once converted from US$, and the Promax is NZ$1200 just for the drone! It's probably going to be more as converting from US$ to NZ$ is not just about exchange rates.
Great point. No it's not waterproof. To be fair, though, it is very good at recognizing a hand underneath it and landing. But I was careful and didn't have it run out of battery mid flight. Not sure what would happen in that instance.
If this had a real race/acro mode that could bind to a quality gimballed transmitter with full speeds/rates available, and ability for TX switches to bind to certain auto modes, then it would be awesome and worth the price.
oh, i think the mistake they are holding on dropping the price to not canibalize their new model sales... so it's pricier than those, yet people want just X1, then they'll pick Neo instead. X1 killer feature is that it folds to a very concise form. New ones are already bulkier. oh well.
Yeah I found it very odd how expensive it is. They've just released their upgraded models as well so it feels like there isn't really an entry level option at this price.

Welcome to...the tech sh*t?!
That's an unusual opening
Slip of the tongue

Unfortunately I don't have a gimbal transmitter so didn't get to test that. But I was pretty disappointed in manual mode. It's just way too slow.
The real mistake isn’t just the pricing it’s they didn’t have an introduction, lower pricing that started before and carried up to the holidays.
