I pray for a cure for Alzheimer's which Patricia is battling and.that my father died from. He is a true good man of many talents and still sounds great in his 80s. He's a smooth crooner. I think he looks more effeminate as he's gotten older. The voice is still strong. I have watched a few interviews and I always wondered about the effect of his life on his spouse.
Engelbert is NOT a CROONER! Can no one differentiate between a crooner and a singer who can reach more than 3 octaves. Perry Como was a crooner, Bing Crosby was a crooner and so on.
engelbert is not a " crooner" as he always points out. crooners have very limited voice ranges but engelbert can reach more than 3 octaves. please get your facts right.
and by the way you are not a crooner,low voice, you are just a singer since when do they,media to be exact, scrutenize singers because of their age, as crooners versus singers? lately, because I read through the lines I have taken great notice of this, that seems to me as against a singers age discrimination
He tells the story of getting on a wrong bus full of women who overpower him and strip him of his clothes and he has to be rescued by Police.......just imagine if a famous female singer got on a wrong bus full of men and they stripped her of her clothes??? I don't think the audience would be laughing at that one!!!....but such are the times we live in , a man being stripped almost naked by a group of women is treated as a joke!! the host of this chat show even jokes " I don't see what the problem is..." ....I think it sounds horrendous!
I like his music so but he is lost from the saving grace of the Lord Jesus. Please pray for him to seek the saving grace of God. Maybe his heart is open now that he has lost his wife. Church wake up!!
