- Wondering which items have been discontinued from Lovevery's The Thinker Play Kit are worth getting from the subscriber shop? Today I'm sharing my thoughts on the subscription box update as of 2021 including which items are think are worth purchasing from the subscriber shop, which are worth skipping, and which you're better off saving money with an Amazon dupe on!
My daughter is currently just past 2 years old and has had the items shown here since 2019.

I am super disappointed Lovevery continues to removes books from their play kits.
I totally get it! I heard a rumor that they may be doing a book subscription service... I know they've been gearing up/going HARD CORE on new book development (I watch the founder's IG stories and she's been flying all over the country to create books with customers). So I can only imagine they are going to offer those in some sort of similar fashion to the play kits. With that said, I hope they just put it in a storefront so we can get what we want haha But I wouldn't get our hopes up given they really have the monopoly on montessori style books like this.
@@confidentlymom True, it's pretty difficult to find comparable books. Which is why I broke down and bought most of the discontinued books secondhand since I never got a response from Lovevery about the Subscriber Shop. My son is almost 4 months old and I have the sneaky suspicion that by the time he gets the updated boxes the discontinued items not be available any more.

Would every subscriber, new or old, get access to the discontinued items in subscribers shop after the kit is shipped?
I have no idea! Someone else asked me a similar question in the previous Lovevery video I did so I'm going to try emailing tomorrow and find out! I'll let you know if I hear back!
Here's the response I got:
Anyone who is currently an active subscriber can get access to the Subscriber Shop for the kits they've been shipped, or someone who is an inactive subscriber only because they've received all the kits through the Free Spirit!
Even if they received their, for example, Thinker Play Kit like a year ago, they can still get access to the shop!
If someone just subscribed today starting with the Thinker Play Kit (for example), they would receive the most up-to-date version of this play kit. When the Thinker ships, they will then be able able to access the subscriber shop to view the old items in the Thinker Play Kit. Anybody who subscribes from here on out will get subscriber shop access to the old items in the Explorer, Thinker, Babbler-Companion!
