By the way, I’m pretty sure that the “rickety” feel is due to springs that are there to isolate the record player mechanism from the speakers.
It’s a record player with built in speakers. The sound is always going to be relatively average, all things considered. The reality is that people buy these records players for convenience, portability and aesthetics. Not sound.
