Lovely build! I can't believe it took me soo long to find out about this kit, but now I have acquired one and after watching you and several others, I am ready to put this lovely lady together! Great job and keep building!
Nice video and build! This is also an ongoing project for me and I appreciate seeing your progression. Bonus points for the use of the term 'Cram-Fu"! 🙂
Thanks. And that term is something I found on forums when dealing with electronics
That's exactly how I felt when I started the work! It was overwhelming! But, once you get into it you realize it can be done! It is an excellent model! I display mine as soon as it's done! That will be another week! It's true, the key to this model is real patience! I hope mines comes out as nice!
Alright so total noob question, can’t really watch the video in full cause im at work at the moment, is this a Snap kit or do you need to glue it together like the older models?
This one is a glue kit. She's actually about the size of the older AMT kit when done
Nice work. I just got the ParaGrafix PE parts for my kit. Rookie question: Are the long nacelle photoetched grills on the outside of the nacelle? It looks like it, but I want be sure...
Nice work but I thought this was an instructional video, instead it's just showing your progress.
everything JJ touches turns to dirt
Considering Abrams had nothing to do with Star Trek Discovery or the revisioning of the NCC-1701 we see in this video, your comment does more to highlight your lack of knowledge of Star Trek than anything else. Maybe you should stick to Star Wars commentary in the future, eh Django?
Nice to see you back Patrick, hoping you & yer family had a good chrimbo.
This finished build looks class, especially the lighting spaghetti inside her.
The aztecs looks great too, really brings out the model, along with the shade of the lighting effects hitting the aztecs from certain angles.
Thanks very much, Wayne
