I love this... watch Martin's feet in the beginning...his right foot is keeping time with the melody and his left is keeping time with the back bass of the song... then Kevin... Then John all dialing in and not being able to contain it ~ just brilliant~!!
Still so good. What is John Doyle's tuning in this video? I know he usually plays in Drop D... But here I don't know, I wonder if it's Dadgad. Any ideas ?
The first reel is "In Memory of Coleman" by Ed Reevy. The lore say it is the only one of his tunes he named soon after its composition, the others being named at the time his son helped him compile for publication. It is one of my favorites.
Wish the guitar fingerpicked a little more, a lot of noise covering up the subtelites of the fiddle at the end there - though quite thoughtful when first coming into join martin - unreal piece though another true gem from a miracle of a group. God bless and thank u all
I love the appreciation on Kevin's face. Brilliant! Humility and largesse all in one.
Just totally brilliant.I’m glad they stopped when they did as I was about to explode.
Pure magic
"TODOS GENIOS."
