I've just accidentally discovered that if you set up the timing through the settings pop-up menu of the animation (the one where you also have the tab for sound, you can actually set it way above 1 minute.
Omg this ACTUALLY WORKS!!!! Right click from the animation pane then click timings & in “duration”, the dropdown list of timings shows only up to 20 seconds but you can type in “120” for 120 seconds ie 2 minutes or anything up to 600 for 10 minutes! Amazing! Pinning this & adding to the video description!
This is fantastic. So simple. So creative. I think layers could help with that bar-timer idea. You could have multiple bar timers side by side but they would have to be masked by an object or be set to disappear after going behind the previous timer.
Useful video! I have to deliver a presentation for a maximum of 10 minutes. I'll keep an eye open on videos you make in regard to making a presentation.

Thanks! Yes that is a good idea that I did set up 2 to make it longer but the pinned comment suggests how to do a long one as a hack!
@@learnspreadsheets YES! I just implemented that idea you pinned and it is marvelous!

Yes! Please check out my other videos, there may be some useful tricks there 😃
thank you! Is there a way to add a sound when the timer is over?
Yes that should be doable by adding a new animation “after previous” & allocating a sound to it in options
