No. 2k16 was good in the beginning but then that patches broke the game. No more speed boosting and big men became worst. Park became slow and trash. It was great then it fell off. 17 as a whole was goat worthy.

It was 2K12 not 2K13 that didn't have rookies during the lockout season when the lockout was over the rookies was added in the game for 2K12 during the season.

Nah 2k17 was so fun to play. I didn't even mind grinding badges and vc in mycareer games. The game play was super satisfying now it feels like I'm playing as a cripple or something

Archetypes ruined the fun for me. I don't play park or care for it and when it came out that your overall was a lie it just made me dislike it even more. The same goes for 18 and 19. I just want a 2k11 through 2k14 skill point system and no vc. The grind in 2k11 from a 40 overall felt so fulfilling to do. I feel like 2k could use archetypes for park and Pro am just not my career and split the two up.
I think any 2k game before 2k12 should be thrown out. Most 2k players dont even remember games like 2k10 and 2k9

So far NBA 2k 16,17 and 19 are the best Nba games by so far on the new gens console. They are all great so it's up to the guys (casual or nba fans) to choose and buy which one of the 3 period.

The three year span of 14 to 16 was great... 17 was iffy because of the bugs and how Park slowly became too toxic with the cheesy jumpshots and HOF badges. HOF Limitless Range was the most Toxic badge with people shooting from half court like it is nothing. The cheesy shot creator builds, sharpshooter builds, and stretch bigs. Everybody had a shooter build because the HOF shooting badges were that broken.
