Gentleman at the table 2:35 - is that the Great Gildersleve?
Nice
The camera Orren used us called a Box camera for obvious reasons. It has two lenses; a viewfinder lens and the picture lens.
At the top of the camera was a lid which the photographer would lift to open the glass viewfinder. They would Then point the camera at the subject which appears upside down in the view finder.
With two lenses you had to be a good 10 feet from the subject in order to properly center the subject in the film.
Later that mad flash attachments for these cameras which held one bulb at a time which was very hot after it went off . After cooling for a few seconds they would pop it out and discard it since the bulb was only good for one use
Petticoat Junction got cornier and cornier after Bea Benederet died. The jokes just weren't there. If there was no canned audience there would be no laughter.
The show was't funny AT ALL these last 2 seasons (Infact, I've had to give several of these episodes a 👎so I know not watch them next time around)
I loved June Lockhart on Lassie, but she pretty much ruined THIS show
@Krista Brewer The show needed a replacement that got frustrated with "Uncle Joe's" antics, like "Kate" did. Sophisticated "Janet" didn't fit the bill.
I like Billie Jo, but compared to the other 2, she's horrible! IShe and Janet must be related in some unknown way. I like Janet ok too, but I just can't believe how SERIOUS and BORING they both are!!
This is a good episode because Billie Jo is here. I love Billie Jo. She is the best.
