Haha I love how someone got you to buy vodka by giving you their card, oh Russians.
Dave - You should take all of your unedited train conversations in Siberia & make extra UA-cam videos! My Russian friends were joking how everytime a foreigner rides the train anywhere East of Moscow, it creates the best content in the history of UA-cam. Immediately every Drunkard tries to buy you a drink, even if you've already been offered over 10!
In any of these travel vlogs, I have never seen a sober man in the dining car of a Russian train.
2000 Rubel for that small room per night is not cheap. Three years ago, I was so lucky to visit Moscow, Wolgograd and the Black Sea. In Anapa and in Adler, directly at the beach, I paid just 1000 R. per night for a single room. Best thing was in Wolgograd: 400 R. for a bed in a dormitory room and I was the only tourist in this room... Russia is great, in any sence! Mi piace i tuoi videi. Hai fatto davverro bene!
I dated a Yakute here in Kyrgyzstan. She came here when she was 4 and remembers how cold it was constantly.
What a great series! Thank you for sharing! I hope to see more of your current travels.
I really enjoy your videos! The places you're exploring are very little-known.
10:05: I think the Christmas tree is because there used to be a tradition, actually in many places and countries, not just in Chita, to leave the tree up all the way till spring or Easter. And I suppose given the climate it must be a PITA in Chita to take the tree back down again so soon after you've put it up.
Reminds me of traveling on the Indian Pacific train. The scenery is very similar, but much much lower temperature. In many parts of that journey you do not want to miss the train, you will die of thirst instead of freezing to death!
Watching this video in a sweltering heatwave here London.. 🥵🥵🥵 feeling refreshed .. Love your conviviality, your humour
Great video Dave but just one minor fact you brought up... the river Lena is bridged at Ust Kut in Irkutsk oblast.
Both by road and by the BAM railway line.
You're some guy, an infectious character. Don't know how you survive encounters with blind drunk dudes when captive on monster train journeys!
You are living my dream, I would love to see and experience the places you visit but I fear that may never be possible so Thank-you for taking me there.
All the best from your numero uno fan in Scotland.
Excellent - you brought back many exciting memories for me. I've been to Siberia twice (back in the Soviet days). I had a three night and day trip on the Trans-Siberian Railway across to Khabarovsk . My trips were both in January and the lowest temperature I experienced was minus 43C, so you had it easy in early Spring!
Thanks for showing the meals. Can you include cost of meals as well? This was an awesome adventure, thanks
Fantastic work as always!
That was great Dave. I'm looking forward to the next one.
24:30 to Maneskin lol. The guy spoke English pretty well.
Really love your content!
For anyone wondering, Sibirskaya corona is 8.3% ABV. Even the beer is lethal in Russia 😂
no, it's 5,3%😭
Very interesting Davide. I enjoyed every minute. Looking forward to what’s next! Thank you…bye!
Best Vlog Yet from Dave the Legend! Thanks mate best wishes from New Zealand
Eccellente video Dave, complimenti !!
Great video, greetings 🖖 from Alaska.
Thanks! Interesting video. I don't wanna go myself, but it's really fun to watch!
I love your vids mate .
And my vids love you dude
This is way better than most msm travel shows!
Please add subtitle to your videos Dave. Your videos have many benefits for the Deaf community as well as hearing community too ❤️❤️
Always love your content..
the area of Yakutia is equal to the total area of France, Spain and Germany, and all this is also multiplied by two
Fascinating documentary of your trip to the Russian far east. I cant imagine weather that cold. Definitely need that coat, mittens and so on.
What a great journey across the coldest places of Siberia. Chita doesn't seem like a city I would make a stop at, unless I want to see Lenin Square 🤣
New subscriber. Enjoyed the video very much. Tip for communal sleeping on trains, get some earplugs. They have saved my life many times on trips. Also, keep your gloves on when touching metal at that temperature! Your hands are going to freeze to the surface and not come off.
HELL YES ID BE UP FOR IT. Dave Legenda, Tour Guide? Sign. Me. Up.
Is there anything better than getting wasted on a train with cheeky Russians
you got some good tips and interesting travelers along the way. but many wet wipes are made of synthetic material and have detergents or additives that are uncomfortable or cause allergic reactions. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. So instead, how about using a small cotton/linen washcloth and mild soap, then put them into a plastic bag and wash it later. ?
interesting, I’ve been studying the map of the BAM and branch lines and looking at the streetview pictures of the stations.
LOL asks, "Does it have dill?" Bro its Russia... your dill comes with everything else.
OHUET"))))
Nah its cool, ill just watch you travel to these places from my place here in Los Angeles. Lol I now appreciate our 80 degrees weather.
6:36 This lady was not taking ANY SHIT when you ordered those pancakes lmfao
lol lol lol!!
She says it has to be real because they showed it on TV
Haha
Hell yeah I’d eat frozen pancakes in Chita…why the hell not?
Legend
No u
These videos are superb.
Bit like watching Louis Theroux's more charismatic brother!
Excellent
I will definitely come with you on a tour for a frozen pancake in Chita . You can launch your business now you will have myself as a customer
Idk, never seen shower in platskart. You're very lucky.
Wow, this is a longer one 😲Putting it on my "Watch Later" list for now 😊
So you watched yet?
@@Oxxxyeeee Actually - no, was too busy working on _my own_ video upload 😅 If _you_ already watched, did anything in particular catch your attention? 🤔
The pancake lady was NOT having a great day
Hell Yeah, frozen pancakes at rip off cheap prices and travelling with the Legend as Tour Guide, im down for that, il pay big money for that???? Let's Do it, EPIC Video, Brilliant
I mean 4 days on a train + food + accommodation + fees…it is going to cost at least 15 USD
I’m down! Let’s explore these Soviet lands
Lets make a travel tour and eat breakfast !!!
Your videos are really interesting. I think you should visit in Finland some day. Im from Finland and there are many cool places in Finland. Actually USSR didin't annex Finland in WW2 but cool thing is that there is Lenin's statue in Finnish town named Turku.
He has visited Karelia
@@polishhussarmapping258 Vyborg right?
@@toiviovideos8446 Not only. He also visited another town searching for Karelian speakers, and he didn't find any.
@@polishhussarmapping258 yes I know that too. Finland is not Karelia tho.
То чувство когда иностранец путешествует по России, больше чем ты сам😄
I guess it's now or maybe never to explore Siberia. Things def aren't guaranteed to get better
You forgot to show us Rybnitsa.
Love your videos! Would it be difficult to travel through Russia at this time as an American (for tourism)? Would it be difficult to get back into America afterwards? I don't know where to find these answers 😁
I think you should learn a bit of Russian language before
I’m hetero😂😂😂 that part of the video was hilarious
why are there no subtitles?
I dunno mate - Crewe could be twinned with Skovorodino!
Well I did have a train disruption at Crewe which meant I had to continue further to my destination by bus once. Never happened in Skovorodino…
@@DaveLegenda Are you gay?
10:00 That is the most Eastern European response
I'm drinking vodka right now lool
Sono un pianista classico, abituato a viaggiare per lavoro. Ma, se la proposta è seria, mi piacerebbe davvero venire con te una volta. Parlo sei lingue e sono molto adattabile ;-)
Russian hospitality is very rude in term of communication. May be caring so much beer 😢
You always meet weirdo's in this video hahahaha
I couldn't find Sardonnokh
It is spelled Sordongnokh, and it is a lake in Yakutia. It is located some 90 kilometres away from the Lena River, upstream from Yakutsk (some 630 km away from it as the crow flies).
Говядина is beef, not pork
I'm a huge Naruto fan too :D
Noo perché hai levato i sottotitoli? Facevano tanto comodo
govedina is not pork, it's beef
I like touring these places with ya Dave.. otherwise i would never had any interest
Behind enemy lines
Enemy lines are only around Moscow ;)
I'm hetero 100% hetero 🤣🙄💯
Rile, taxi driver have a lot of apartments and he need extra money, only in Russia, Scam
You left Russia
Supposedly in protest
Such a cool authentic video! 🤍 especially that drunk guys 😅 made my evening
Yakutsk has proven to be home to the lowest breed of bio garbage in the world. Glad you enjoyed your trip there.
