Now THAT was the PERFECT title for the last episode - Squirrels Gone Wild!!!! 😂 Brutal indeed. I always knew I loved testing my boundaries but when I edit through these trips it truly solidifies. 15:05 I couldn't have written it better. I laughed so many times watching that scene. I wrote something for those with a sense of humor as I'm sure it went over many serious heads left thinking, "What is she talking about?" 😂 GOLD!! I'm a rockhound!
you are a huge motivator. I commute by bike year round, mini adventures at best. 2023, I want the full expereince. Call it semi retired, whateever, I want to take some of those rides...
Then I'd have to stay on pavement - which is fine - but a totally different trip. One of which I think I would love. I'm such a minimalist and like changing my mind A LOT I'm not sure if it would be smart with my type of personality but I love that you are suggestion that especially for others reading comments!
Funny you should ask. I rarely edit anything out but I took what I said they were out. 😂 Nuun tablets. One was a hydration with extra sodium the other a greens (veggies). Interesting...as another gal here named Kim said the same thing. So that's three ladies. They do say it's more common in girls than boys. I guess we've just proved that. 😉
You are a BLAST! Your videos make me realize I need to get some new friends who want to push limits and say fuckit! I don't travel as well as you by myself but if I hung around more people like you I think I could get there. One day you should think about creating an outdoor adventure class. I would sign up!
Welllll....goshhhhh...thank you!!! Hahaha!! My most adventurous friends have been male which makes sense since it's the men I see biking, hiking, on motorcycle trips, climbing trips, boating....yep - always groups of men. The women are just along as the "girlfriends" but rarely lead. Someone else mentioned a class. When I hit 50k subs I'll consider it!
Gorgeous! Idaho has been on my list for a long time but wow love the shots of that area! And just remember hike-a-bike = #HOT A@@ Hot Legs!!! And do you really know what we’re thinking lol
No. I hand hold my iPhone out in front of me. It can be dangerous on singletrack from the weight of the bike side to side..pedaling the weight...and having only one hand on the handlebar/break. I do more in the coming episodes. I had one of those twisty 5inch mini tripod things but hated using it. I didn't want any gadgets on my handlebars with my phone baking in the sun, I can keep pedaling and whip my phone out and start shooting at whatever angle or spot I want in a flash. That's why I like just holding it. When Season 1 came out so smooth I thought - heck - just keep hand holding the cell phone. I own a GoPro but - ya - I just like as little as possible to deal with. Thank you for noticing - I don't think many pick up on it.
Great question! I hate duct tape. Too wide, too sticky (especially in high heat) and leaves goopey stuff after you pull it off. Electrical is SO strong and none of the above. In Season One (gravel bike Boise to Canadian border RT) I had to tape my Keen sandal ankle strap. I biked all the way from Glacier to the border back to Boise - never came off. I think I show it in the last episode.
@@HumanontheLoose I understand. For general uses electrical tape will suffice and is less troublesome but I'm a Hope for the best but plan for the worst kind of guy. That stickiness is precisely what makes it so good in an emergency. You could literally tape a bike frame back together with it to at least limp back to civilization. Then deal with getting it off your bike later. Lol. Just a thought. "Hopefully" you don't find yourself in that situation.🙂

Gosh - thank you!! The "full experience" sounds exciting!! We won't call it anything but Doug out there rocking his world!! 👏
I would love to go into the wild with Naomi stock. And as a man once said quote it ain't happening".
Next year you should try a trailer
Then I'd have to stay on pavement - which is fine - but a totally different trip. One of which I think I would love. I'm such a minimalist and like changing my mind A LOT I'm not sure if it would be smart with my type of personality but I love that you are suggestion that especially for others reading comments!
What are the those two disks on the log?
I get Reynauds, but just in my hands and feet.
You found such a cute stream!
Indeed! 😂 I'll keep your hashtags in mind when I'm grunting on my next climb! I DO!
Do you use a camera gimbal? Even on the rocky single track, your shots were super steady 👍
You seem to be a big fan of electrical tape. Is there a reason you chose it over duct tape?
A great point as I never thought of taping to that extent.
