I miss the old Albin Viggen we used to have. Was really easy to sail. Didn't take days to polish. But there is more room in the new boat... and a head... and a kitchen... and an aft cabin... and another mast... and 500L fuel.
Solfar has served you well and I wish the new owner all the best & safe sailing. Aquarius will be a wonderful vessel of adventure and learning new skills. I cannot imagine saying goodbye to wave dancer but we might in the future depending on how live aboard life style works out. John retiring next week 😮so more time for sailing at least, might start as early as early March 😂 once jobs finish (do they ever really finish 😂😂😂)
I walk past Solfar most days on Bangor marina where I keep my little Leisure 17. Of which I’m about to market in order to upgrade, likely to an Albin Vaga! There’s one for sale near Solfar! Keep up the good work, you’re both doing well in all respects i.e your sailing journey as well as the media/channel/content/filming etc . Viewers like genuine characters and authenticity… if the content is slightly technical, a bit interesting, and scenic that’s an added bonus 😊👍
Thank Jonathan, we really appreciate that. Solfar was a great boat. If you end up with a vega you'll be doing well. Safe strong little boats. And very simplistic too. Fingers crossed for you. Sarah and Josh who bought Solfar are nice couple. We enjoy making the videos as we feel there's probably at least one or 2 people out there that will get something out of them. But we learn a lot from others too with comme to and suggests so it's win win 😀
Incredible! Sad, because of the lack of a channel for a lovely little boat. But great for you, to sail a bit more comfortable. Looking forward to hearing from you! Oh, by the way: Does the new owner keep on the Sólfar-Channel? Best, Matt.
@MW-dt2bj hi Matt, thank you for your comment. I'm not sure the new owners are on social media platforms so not sure what there thoughts our. The YT channel etc. will remain ours but the inevitably the name will change.
Amazing new boat! We sold our Vega 2 months ago and just finished purchase of a Sadler 32.. which is big and scary enough for us. Wow you will have some fun with Aquarious! Enjoy

Well done lads. You're progressing nicely and the new boat looks great. You may need a new name for the channel!
Thank you. Haha we were just discussing what we do about the channel name. Open to suggestions 😄
Nice step forward

@LittleBoatAdventures sorry about that, we did bounce off Bangor Marina for a short night
