They are also both in their relationship and are so much better in the official sources than anime too 😭 Sasuke and Eren parallel 1 both of them saw their parent die at very young age 2 both of them wanted to kill the thing/ person that killed their parent plus their Goal mixed up with something Sasuke also wanted to restore honor to his clan and Eren gain freedom 3 both of them were told by someone they were weak and wanted to get stronger 4 Both of them are the younger brother 5 Both have Self destructive /borderline suicidal behaviour 6 Both deeply care about their friends and family (it's more noticeable in the manga and light novel for Sasuke) 7 After they achieve their goal they realize it all been for nothing because they learned the truth of what happened then they move on to the next enemy 8 Both of them show emotion through facial expressions (which is more noticeable in the Manga). little rant with it too I hate when people completely disregard the significance of facial expressions in manga, diluting it to "crumbs" when someone uses it as it a valid component in analyzing the relationship/scene exchange between two characters. They act like visual cues are second to what is being conveyed through speech, but imo that completely defeates the purpose of comics because many times emotions, the character's true feelings can't be portrayed through mere words. They're equally important if not more, and what give manga it's beauty which more often than not, the anime adaptations cannot capture. Sasuke is one of my greatest examples, along with Eren too.
Mikasa and Sakura Both are the strongest human female characters in their verse 2 both of them are love in with a criminal 3 both of them are misunderstood by anime dudes who don't even know what they are saying bc they haven't picked up the manga.
