Dorian Yates was like a walking piece of granite! He may not have won as many titles as some but the people he went up against could all have been mr. Olympia had he not been there.
It’s unbelievable how this man had huge legs and calves with out training his legs with squats, now those are the best genetics, amazing, the shadow, the best at what he did.
It’s crazy how he on all diff kinds of steroids.. but it takes 4-5 days to recover from leg day. This just goes to show how hungry he was to win! This is pure dedication! MUCH RESPECT!
I love this man... His absolute dedication just blows my mind and inspires me to better myself. Possibly/Arguably the greatest bodybuilder of all time? IMO
Thanks for all our hard work, your vids always push me through my workouts. Especially when the beast Dorian is the headliner. This guy was in a league of his own. The best to ever do it.
Respect to Dorian. When im do bodybouliding legs irs always hard day.Any way i do it ...i make it !!!Why becouse this is challenge not only for you legs is challenge for youself for you mind:))))Peace.
I did legs yesterday and on my 7th set my calves locked up and I dropped in agony. Stretched it out and my wife helped me back inside and put some cream on. I knew in that moment they would grow.
If you think you can recover from going to failure every workought and your natty good luck. But I do love the mindset, ya gotta optimize your workoughts a d leave a rep or 2 in the tank.
Not true at all you can recover absolutely your food and vitamins water etc are going to be vital to. Most don’t diet properly to recover. Food is the most important aspect of bodybuilding hands down. Everyone thinks it’s steroids. If your not healing properly from sets to failure your not getting enough fuel
Dorian Yates, a colossus in the pantheon of bodybuilding, redefined the very ethos of muscular perfection with his unparalleled work ethic and an almost mythical dedication to his craft. Emerging from the gritty backdrop of Birmingham, England, Yates was not forged in the glitzy gyms of America but in the shadows of Temple Gym, a subterranean forge where he sculpted a physique that would forever alter the landscape of bodybuilding. His training, known for its brutal intensity and unwavering discipline, was not just a routine but a relentless crusade against his own limits. Yates' physique, a breathtaking amalgamation of size, symmetry, and conditioning, was nothing short of a masterpiece, etched with the sweat of a Spartan regimen. Each muscle, carved with Herculean effort, spoke of a man who transcended the ordinary, embodying the spirit of a warrior in the pursuit of physical greatness. Dorian Yates wasn't just a bodybuilder; he was a force of nature, a testament to the extraordinary feats human will and flesh can achieve, leaving an indelible mark as the greatest to ever grace the stage.
1m, I'm glad to hear him say that. I often wonder how I could let any woman to understand this. I've just learned they're so intolerant towards the ways of man & so demanding of their own prerequisites that it's just better for them if they weren't so internally involved with my living systems. I grew up in a house full of women too as the youngest. In manhood I've learn to identify the disappointments of overtly domineering systemic declarations that define our gender characteristics & the biased absurdity that curtails this. I like being a masculine man.

4:06. That's the real pleasure. We can see happiness in his eyes after such a hard core training.

Dorian and arnold
Definitely not the best MR o, torn bicep and tricep, large gut, small arms compared to body. He was great, but.. not the best.
Currently sitting in the gym parking lot watching this getting hype for my leg day 🔥
It’s unbelievable how this man had huge legs and calves with out training his legs with squats, now those are the best genetics, amazing, the shadow, the best at what he did.
He did squats early in his career until he got injured and said they did work quite well...He just had to adapt to overcome.
Yup,but he became the shadow and 6 time mr olympia with out them and that is impressive.
squat is good for athletes , but for bodybuilding is hack squat legs press , just my opinion
Squats are overrated. Hack squats, vertical leg press, etc
It’s crazy how he on all diff kinds of steroids.. but it takes 4-5 days to recover from leg day. This just goes to show how hungry he was to win! This is pure dedication! MUCH RESPECT!
Crazy thing is I believe bodybuilders today take MORE roids than those in the 90s
@@TheRealAntonioSoprano not true at all. Just more selection
@@jaretk7585 steroids back in dorians day ,, were real pharm grade steroids not UG Lab steroids ,, they done the business

Its possible you've tore them, if the pain persists better check the doc
Doing good today. I've been pushing through my plateaus recently. It's satisfying because at first all I could squat was the bar.
If you're a beginner, keep it slow. If you can't even lift the bar, then that's a bit too much what you dir with your calves
If you think you can recover from going to failure every workought and your natty good luck. But I do love the mindset, ya gotta optimize your workoughts a d leave a rep or 2 in the tank.
