You hate that you love the man that abused you, it’s incredibly common when it comes to abused victims, you think of the happy memories you had with them, to the point of never being able to truly hate him, I know you want it to go back to before he died, I did too when it happened to Lucy, but I need you to understand that even if they regretted it, they’re still one of the sources of your trauma, and from what I’ve seen, you wish you could hate him, but your love for him is so strong, that you hate the fact you love him
Sometimes I really care about him and others I want to hate him. I mean I feel like I should but my mind just keeps wanting to love him and care for him when he was still ‘innocent.’ I took a picture from home of when he and I were babies, and that was before he assaulted me, and I value that.
@@Grag235 I think thats kind of what i’ve started doing, but I need therapy to help me fully separate them, which my therapist is helping me to do, its just going to be a long process.

@@ShadowIsABaby Then how about this, value the person he was before as a separate person, and hate the one who abused you, as a separate person
