Defo a comfy ride - v6 sounds exciting in a Camry but does it really need one - most sales would be the 4 pot and hybrid with a small minority being v6 ! The added weight of v6 in aFWD is Lilley to make it front heavy and relatively ponderous to drive IMHO
The good thing is, its really a Lexus underneath. Or the other way round. The new ES and this is based on the same platform, like how VW's MQB is shared from Skoda to Audi.
Why does no one show the backseats folding down to fit more in it and if they fold flat or not.. ? I've read that it's a feature of this car but it is so hard to find a video where someone just shows that feature and luggage space and practicality and ease of use
These are nice & a top product, I drive em at work. Just wish the tech/engines got an upgrade but that's why they're pretty reliable - they use a tried n evolved formula - no dirty valve walnut blasting needed unlike direct injection cars.
If you look closely, this car DOES have the "Black Roof". The roof is actually tinted glass which they call a Panoramic roof. Red seats are also available in Aus. I don't know where you sourced your information from..
KR00K3R sweetness ,checkout the US version and you will know what i meant. car-newmodels.net/toyota-camry-2018-us/2018-toyota-camry-introduces-aggressive-design-new-engines-of-toyota-camry-2018-us/
Interior’s nice, love the seats, but not sure if those curves would age well. No CarPlay no deal tho. Thought Toyota was offering it for the US market?
Toyota have definitely upgraded the aesthetics and functionality compared to the last Camry, but the new V6 drivetrain isn't as pleasing as the last model of Aurion. I frequently drive one of these as a fleet vehicle and am amazed at the poor turning circle and obvious 'lag' during acceleration. On paper the motor makes more power at the flywheel, but this doesn't translate to road driving. Perhaps it's more economical, or the gearing isn't as 'snappy' to suit the new 8-speed. I think realistically the 4-cylinder would be the most practical application, but try doing a u-turn in a suburban street or manoeuvring into a carpark during a test drive.
"European vibe". What, you mean it has white leather? Err no. It's as American as they come. European vibe would mean smaller, more practical, less curvy, neater, leaner. Unless.. the last European car you drove was a 15 year old pug.
The practicality side was fine, however with reference to smoothness and engine characteristics… more research was required as these engines have been well known for their smoothness having originated from Lexus and ongoing development since the mid 2000s.
So beautiful car love the color of interior .

The new Camry is amazing, inside and out...and feature packed.
Fun to drive ,and very refined...could be a Lexus
I just bought one in Metallic Red
congratulations nice car how do you find the headroom i am considering one but i am 180 cm tall
J B it’s exceptionally roomy and very comfortable

Absolutely delightful, thank you.
If I were looking for a new car would seriously consider, but my 380 won't die.

I like to have my seat up high, but there's not a lot of headroom. That about sums up this review!
Why the hell would a four-year-old and a six-year-old need car seats?
It's got power, that would be the V6 Engine (2:51) wow what a concept!!!! i thought u were peddling
Reviews a sporty fwd sedan, keeps comparing it to an suv...fail.
U are much prettier then lates Camry
European vibe? Its not even on sale in Europe and it never was. Beside that camry size is not at all even close to Europe most selling car size.
Everything looks good but no android auto.Hopeless
European vibe? This is Japanesa or Yankee at best. Need to visit optometrist :)
I don't understand why she keeps comparing a sedan to an SUV. I just don't get it. Maybe she's doesn't know anything about cars and is a bad reviewer.
Large-ish sedans and wagons are still a better option for many many people.
And tend to look smarter.

I like the SX with the red interior. That would be the pick of the Camry line up for me. This SL is still very nice though.
Bit disappointed that the Aus market doesnt get full premium option which includes full black roof panel and red leather seats and much more.
Mansour Anonimous u can get red leather only in SX sporty model. But yes. Shame we couldn't get black roof
We get the leftovers here in Oz.

Oh, you're referring to the pillars being black. Now it clarifies.. Bit of a difference from a roof and a pillar.
Interior’s nice, love the seats, but not sure if those curves would age well. No CarPlay no deal tho. Thought Toyota was offering it for the US market?
I have a 2017 aurion and i want this new camry with the v6 looks good
Why the heck they hate the all new camry it looks cool now and fast
Because their main issue is bending down :L XD
Mass hysteria -- an infectious, highly transmissible mental disorder.
Lot of people still wavering whether to get the practicality of a crossover or the comfort of a sedan
I don't see the point of the V6. The 4 Cyl Hyrbid gets 51 mpg and this gets around 25+. Might as well get the Hybrid.
There is a point, it's either you want performance/quick pick ups, then a v6 was meant to be an option for loyal buyers.

I like all of this 8th generation Camry and I have been on a Silver service taxi and is this kind of Camry
What’s the difference between SX V6 and SL V6?
outstanding apart from the infotainment which is bizarre in this day and age, a total letdown
Haha LS, don't you mean "SL" at 3:54
Lol👍
Because the SL is a poor mans LS
All things are good but the in said very noisy
Congratulations and thank you for including the price of the car.
Is it an SL or LS ????
SL
5 years later, the SL is now AU$54k...in petrol-hybrid.
Thanks for informative videos that will make my car buying decision easy
I don’t think any car would reach 8 above if you gave the CAMry 8
And its not a ls . It's a sl . Would of expected a v8 if it was a ls
Great Review. Nice white color. Nicely shot and edited video.
The practicality side was fine, however with reference to smoothness and engine characteristics… more research was required as these engines have been well known for their smoothness having originated from Lexus and ongoing development since the mid 2000s.
why dont they ever test drive the base model it is always top of the rang
This and the Gen 5 are my favorite Camry
mmm i dont really get sold that this chick is a car expert....
She is not trying to be one. Listen to experts long enough and you will feel that nothing cheaper than a Bugatti will do.
it's a review from the viewpoint of a mum/dad, what she says is what 99% of the population need to know
It actually 45,609$
Loved this review! Camry's on my car shopping list.
Ricky K Mine too, an Ascent Sport or SX, the latter in a v6.
Is it a Glacier white or Frosted white? Which one will be better?
Frosted white
Honest review
Excellent review, it looks like a great family sedan. Thank-you, looking forward to your next review.
nice car
What a woman!!! As v6!
