    The 4 seaters are lacking on traction compared to the 2 seaters, 4 wheelers always go where side by sides will not, but sides by sides are neat!

    Got my HD 8 Defender with Apache LT 360 tracks stuck in about 3-4 feet of snow !! Had to dig my way out lol

    Ranger did pretty good considering how heavy it is. I have the same track on my wildcat sport. Lots of fun in the deep stuff.

    At least some parts of the world have rideable snow! I have only been able to hit my local trails one time this year and that was with only 4” of snow

      Stephen Nyberg I live in MN and looking back 3 weeks ago, I can even believe I said that. Since then we have literally got 2 feet of snow. This is the most snow I remember having for at least 3 or 4 years around here.

      ostacruiser wasn’t trying to be rude it’s a sick build, just curious why build a quad for snow when a sled would get around better being they are built for this kind of riding. It seems like the tracks rob a lot of power on a machine that would be a monster if you had tires on it riding in the dirt. Either way keep tearing shit up out there

    Hey Osta do you run in high with the tracks on? I just purchased camso 4s1 tracks and was told only run tracks in low gear not from can’t confirm with dealer as they told me they have to look into it. Lol

      Full clutches and a fuel controller with full exhaust. Look up my vid on the build. It has all the build details. We Take Project Yeti To The Mountains

      @@ostacruiser Agreed beefed up primary and secondary springs, lighter weights billet clutch are a must as well as an optimizer and full exhaust & good intake. Prefilters on the air filter, intake covers and clutch vent breather help a lot in the dry powder.

    Cool vids, thanks for sharing. I'm considering a track kit for a Honda 1000-5... I'm getting too old to work with the snowmobiles and I still like my ice fishing trips. I'm moderately disappointed that the tracked Ranger didnt do better all things considered. I may have to rethink my "old guy" strategy lol. I live in the Rocky Mts at 5100ft, we ride up into lakes at sometimes 9000ft. Powder can be fairly deep. Sleds always get us in and out, just getting harder to trailer and lift around. Thought a tracked UTV would be the bomb with the wife and grandkids heading up to the lakes.

      Ya super deep snow and steep inclines are tough for sure. A two seat 1000cc with a few mods and clutching will do quite a bit better
