I applied for a 491 visa SA on 30 oct, 2022, its been about 10 months..i called the DHA, they said you are within the processing period of 18 months so wait. So its really absurd we wait till 18 months and our medical , biometrics all get expired and we repeat all those just because of the delay from their part! Thats ridiculous. We submitted all or documents and visa as they requested within a short span and this is very depressing
Sir i have lodged 491 Visa , it's been 14 months and still waiting.My agent called them 2 times but no satisfaction answers .plz suggest me

Do I have to submit the birth certificates of all the family members. My wife did not have birth certificate. Can I submit her 10th class certificate while applying for the visa.

491 processing depends on ANZSCO code, but after invitation, it takes around 6-8 months,
All good, 10th class ceritificate works as Birth Certificate, Australia knows some countries didn't have the concept of Birth Certificates, so Yes even I used 10th Marksheet

for Devops, 262113 is more compatible, If you apply for 261313 (its for software programmers), and I believe will be Rejected by ACS
so its 262113

Hi I just lodged my application on 22 Jun and on 1 sep case officer asked for signing form 815 as my 2 year child IGRA test for TB was positive but chest xrays were cleared after follow up test, I also submitted that form 815 immediately after receiving the request and status changed to further assessment so, is there any impact on visa grant because of inactive or latent TB?
Hi, looks like they want to make sure that you take Bupa Private insurance immediately after arriving in Australia
No problem with this process, this is general process and you need to keep private insurance for your child in australia, but in max 3-4 months i guess the grant will come

I have been offered Scholarship from the University (UQ), and COE both i have presented in my VISA documents. My program starts at 1 July 2023. Actually, i applied for Canada visa too as a backup plan, since Australia takes too much time for visa issuing.

You can try for 491, you will get easily, however if you are planning to merry in next 1-2 years, if your partner also gets 7 bands in IELTS, and has education (not necessary civil, but bachelor or masters) almost similar to your, then 10 points

Some universities have stopped accepting applications from some indian states and other universities are delaying the visa, if they dont get students from other countries the they will pick Indian student's visa, I would advice apply to multiple university/colleges

Hi bro, Finalized means you got the grant, Please check your email you must have got an email with an attachment saying actual visa status, Granted for example

I lodged 491 visa application in June 2022, got S56 to redo PCC in Sept 2023 and again got S56 to redo Medicals in Mar 2024. Do you think all other aspects are already checked and once Medicals are submitted they will finalise or it will take another few months before grant? Please advise. Thank you!!
