I play the harp and I remember playing this piece in 6th grade, that harp part was amazing and i remember that nostalgia. 2 years later, no one in my old group is in my school except for me. Not even the conductor is there. I’m the only one that was in my Symphony 2022, very sad to think about but I’m grateful.
You think you own whatever land you land on The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim But I know every rock and tree and creature Has a life, has a spirit, has a name You think the only people who are people Are the people who look and think like you But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger You'll learn things you never knew, you never knew Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains Can you paint with all the colors of the wind Can you paint with all the colors of the wind Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest Come taste the sun sweet berries of the Earth Come roll in all the riches all around you And for once, never wonder what they're worth The rainstorm and the river are my brothers The heron and the otter are my friends And we are all connected to each other In a circle, in a hoop that never ends How high will the sycamore grow If you cut it down, then you'll never know And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon For whether we are white or copper skinned We need to sing with all the voices of the mountains We need to paint with all the colors of the wind You can own the Earth and still All you'll own is Earth until You can paint with all the colors of the wind
especially in the cello section. as a cellist who performed this a while back, these cellists don’t the song enough justice because we’re like 40% of the melody
Fool. Bach used much more advanced melodically molecular spheroid equations to achieve a musically balanced equilibrium photosynthesis. Finish evolving, crongoloid
Marissaz17 7 at least they know what three and four octaves are, in sixth grade you’re still learning finger pattern one and two and how to use a bow correctly 😒
I love how when they get towards an emotional part everyone passionately sways to the left.
Yes I love that part too. It really speaks to me on the spiritual level
if u sway to the right u might got poke
When I play I do the same thing
i play the viola and my orchestra is working on this piece for a concert but this it’s a beautiful and emotional piece
Same but I play the chello
Cello
I play bass and Everytime I hear the violist in my class play it just brings me close to tears because she plays it so beautifully
Its perfect, its been years but am glad someone made it sound beautiful
These young people creating such a cloud of notes feeling like earing the pure soul symphony of their art.
I’m crying.
Good
This.... is really beautiful. I'm happy.

You think you own whatever land you land on
The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life, has a spirit, has a name
You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You'll learn things you never knew, you never knew
Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind
Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sun sweet berries of the Earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they're worth
The rainstorm and the river are my brothers
The heron and the otter are my friends
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends
How high will the sycamore grow
If you cut it down, then you'll never know
And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
For whether we are white or copper skinned
We need to sing with all the voices of the mountains
We need to paint with all the colors of the wind
You can own the Earth and still
All you'll own is Earth until
You can paint with all the colors of the wind
I’m proud to say I as a cellist got to play this piece alone with other instruments I was the only cello and I’m in sixth grade
Beautifully done.
Truly beautiful🥹🥹🥹
I love it
Preciosa versión...
¡Bien hecho!

Oh my God this song is so hard to play but it was so much fun
I play violin

I'm cello
I play bass
All we need is a viola to finish the quartet
late viola jumpscare
Anyone else have like 1/4 of this in their band?😂
You can't really hear the dynamics
Noodle Noodle as if a note reading machine
I cant really hear your mom
yall.... dynamics is changes in the volume or timber or smn like that... no the notes lmao
Probably just the recording.

It sounds like Bach!
