I always thought Vert’s dad joined the Silencerz after this movie, personally. It’s a little unclear whether Tezla is still working for them during this movie; sure, Gig has orange lights and not purple, but that could be to provide plausible deniability (it seems like the Scrim Corporation may be a front for them).
It would've been great if Acceleracers kept this movie's cell shaded aesthetic, but the writing and animation definitely got some improvement. What they did to Taro's redesign was criminal though.
“I’m proud of you son. You won the world race, had the courage to think of someone else, and finally learned what’s really important… But you’re still grounded for a month!”
Man you are doing solid work putting this up here. My dad got this for me when in the summer of like 2005 and I thought it was the greatest movie ever. I would always watch it on our portable dvd player. Thank you for letting me experience that again.
@@Matthew-Anthony Actually, the best ending is when Vert's Dad accidentally presses the Nitrox-2 button, and going through the portal again. Probably going back to HW City. 😎👌🎬🏎
Well, they're going to the other side of the world! Thanks for uploading this! Never saw Highway 35 before, just Acceleracers and B.F.5! Acceleracers was definitely an improvement, but this was great grounds for a follow up!
I kinda feel bad for vert at the end when he’s gets home but he gets to ride the car with his pops why does he get punished I meant he didn’t do anything wrong
to regroup and find a better strategy to capture the wheel of power again, and them they come back later as the racing drones in Hot Wheels Acceleracers.

Also Vert's dad: Drives a Silencerz Car

My favorite movie. It always takes me back to being a kid again
Yeah loved hotwheels me too didnt know about these films when i too was a kid
Man this movie just has so much nostalgia for me. And it’s not ugly to watch. Still looks great and still gets me in a great mood.

This needs to stay, as this is a long-lost piece of history.

"You mean I got the hottest car ever, and I can't drive it for a month?!"
@DarkKirby8976 "Grounded is grounded. But, how about taking me for a spin first?"
“The Deora II is good to go”
"Looks pretty complicated"
@@Lego88fan What's this button do?
20+ years later and this movie still holds up. Absolutely legendary.
Vert Wheeler oh look who is, the Teku driver who was showing off Reverb in the recent video that I still rewatch cause I enjoy seeing Reverb

Vert Wheeler being grounded is the best ending ever?

Two years later they all became the Teku and metal maniacs and the other drivers from the world race disappeared.
Imagine if Lightning McQueen and Chick Hicks entered the Highway 35 World Race.
You would think an Air Force officer would know better than to ask "what's this button do?" and then start pressing random buttons in the cockpit
Well, he's actually a top secret driver playing both sides, he very much knew what was gonna happen
Vert giving his money to Kadeem hits harder when you know what happens to him in Acceleracers🤦♂️🥲
What happened

Teku:
Kurt Wylde, Vert Wheeler
Metal Maniacs:
Mark Wylde, Taro Kitano
3:16 As Vert says in the beginning of the movie
"Bummer."
2:07 sounds like kurt and kadeem are getting along now
This movie is still amazing till this day
I this was the first time seeing film that takes place before the next series.
Just rewatched both. There are playlists for both on UA-cam
