The moment I saw the thumbnail, I fell in love! My mother's birthday is next week and I was wondering what I could give her that would be quick and easy to make, so I'm thrilled to have found this video. 💖Because I wanted to use materials I already had and make sure her phone would fit, I had to make a few changes:
1) I used 3 strands of Lion Brand's Coboo in Pink with a 5mm hook to make it slightly longer.
2) I changed the sides by making 25 double crochet instead of 22, still skipping the 4 stitches.
This way, I was able to make the phone fit perfectly and still have space for a wallet and other things.
Thank you for such an easy to understand tutorial of a beautiful purse. I can't wait to surprise my mom with her gift! 😻💕

For other that make this I want to share my experience. I used 24/7 lion brand cotton yarn with 2 strands. I did a chain of 72 sts in order to get the 40 cm. I did 26 sts instead of 22 when marking the sides. My purse measured 7 in by 5 in. I am waiting for my Dring leather strap which I ordered from etsy. I bought all other hardware from hobby lobby and joann. I ordered a decorative strap from amazon which there are many choices for around $10. This was my 3rd crochet project and I found it challenging but I replayed the video a lot until I understood it. I really like my small bag. It will be nice for phone or to carry when I don't want a large purse.
I made this today using chunky yarn and 6mm hook it looks great!! I also done DC instead of sc on one of the last rounds to make it wider and again just worked so well!!! Thank you so much for the tutorial!

@@jph4197 Sorry for my late reply. It's (13*17*3.5)cm with 2layers of 1.5mm thick yarn.
Kakhi one takes in iPhone XS(13 as well) and Galaxy Note10 easily.
It'll turn out bigger if you make it with thicker yarn or crochet it loosely.

For those of us who need to order the string to make these could you tell me how many yards it took for each one? I usually weigh the finished object (before adding things like your snaps and straps) to calculate this. These are very cute and useful looking! Thank you for showing us how you do it.

Está viendo todo el proceso y está verificando que están hechos completamente a mano y sí, son perfectos! 👍 Hasta ahora no existe una máquina que haga crochet. Debe ser que ud no tiene los suficientes conocimientos para tejer crochet y lo que ha visto es de muy mala calidad. Pero afortunadamente dió con este video y puede apreciar algo lindo. 😉

I've just made this and being from the UK it was so easy to follow and so quick the only problem I have is I'm not sure what size d rings I need for the strap and the leather front xx
