I really liked this free flow conversation format!
I flew around this time and I felt super unsafe on a plane, it really solidified that feeling of social isolation and authoritarianism that has swept the country. The idea that healthy people were wearing masks just bothered the hell out of me.

This was a fun episode. Jack stating that he has an OnlyFans nearly caused me to spit my drink all over my keyboard. Graham should go to Dutch Bros Coffee and get the most expensive drink there.
The IRS database calculates how much everyone owes, makes and transfers as the registered financial institution data comes in. These computers can sometimes or often times be easily fooled so this is why the IRS must run "manual audits" to make sure you paid your fair share. Also if the IRS were to tell you how much you owed it would be easier to detect temporary faults in the system and get away with "taxable activities".

Instead of buying shares, buy synthetic stock options. It cost only a 1/3rd of the common shares. If you buy 100 shares of SPY at $400. You would need 40k to buy 100 common shares. With synthetic stocks you only need about 15k to buy.

I brought GME in December at $11 I had 14 share. I just I had feeling this babe was going down so I sell 12 from Robbin hood and Webull at $400 dollars. I have 4 kids just purchased my house so I brought a living rooms set with a fake fire stand. I was so happy. Every time I am going upstairs to my room I smile. I am sorry people I didn’t hold and sell but I just knew. I have 50 shares of AMC at $4.70 and just waiting for these babe to go up so I can buy my bedroom set. ☺️☺️☺️☺️

What do you think about investing in single family homes near a resort town for STR - and then also outfitting it with TESLA (Solar, Powerwall, even 1-2 Teslas) With the intention being that you are essentially building your own remote power plant (autobidder), and when robo taxi is a thing it can pick tennants up from the airport, they can use the car during the stay, and it can taxi itself when they aren't using it. Just an idea I had, not sure if the profit or perceived cash flow would outway the costs associated with getting it set up. (still running numbers)

@1:04 That is exactly has it should be done. Why doesn't the IRS just give you a tax bill at the end of the year. Estimated taxes don't make sense. whatever is withheld then the difference. Give me that number. Ask us for any deductibles and then give us a number. why do they come back later with you had this income that should of been filled as this. Just tell us our income and we tell you our expenses then tell us our taxes. Or everything from revenue to expenses are kept track on a blockchain and taxes are taken care of.

Graham you should start a most expensive *blank* channel, i think it would be a hit
1:16:10 Selling puts to buy stock is incredibly smart though. Key is to only sell puts on stocks you want to hold and at a strike price you believe the company is well valued. Also if you roll your short calls up and out at net even with a higher strike, you can not have your equity called away for extended periods of time until there is eventually a correction. Or at least get called away at a much higher strike price after continue to roll up and out

idk i kinda of like sort of there is x amount of bullet points you want to hit that are set before the show starts but if someone says something and it leads to another conversation that's fine as it gives ideas for the show without restricting the natural flow of conversation but it means you (hopefully) don't miss anything you want to talk about

Was going to say the same thing. It makes me question Dave's entire investing philosophy since he doesn't seem to understand how Leveraged ETFs work. For someone who has as much experience as him I would think he would know about daily leverage resetting and long term price decay and it's effects on long term gains from Leveraged ETFs.
