I agree this is definitely love 😍 Peter made yiu zucchini bread and now you made his favorite traditional meal. I would eat your food Joyce. I especially like your cabbage slaw.
Joyce you are something else lady!! You are a Proverbs 31 woman. Loving your family the way you do is such an inspiration to me. God bless you and Peter and your children!! I love to see you cook. You are a blessing Joyce
This is very beautiful to cook with such love for your family. I especially love the bye-bye at the end. I can only continue to ask God to bless you abundantly according to your faith.
HELLO AUNTY JOYCE YOU ARE COOKING A NICE MEAL FOR YOUR HUSBAND FRESH FRUIT AND VEG GREEN BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN GARDEN AND MUMMY CAT AND PRETTY KITTEN WATCHING FROM UK 🇬🇧 🎉+
Watching you in your garden and preparing food and the birds in the background is so peaceful. You both have a wonderful aura. Sending love and blessings For sure God loves you 🙏🏼
It seems like we have different weather climate here in Zim we already harvested in April no rains now it's winter will have rain again October November that's when we start ploughing again ❤❤❤❤
Hi Joyce I wanted to let you know in America sukuma is called Collard greens and kale is different from sukuma it tastes different and looks different I was born in Kenya and sukuma that's Collard greens it's my favorite😊
Joyce, please ask Peter to make you an upright long handled yard broom to sweep the yard without you having to bend down all the time as you have so much wood on your land and this will prevent back problems later on. 😊
A beautiful video about a beautiful family. How sweet your children are and how wonderful their father is. You know that best, dear Joyce, and we can see it too. And we believe that he is a wonderful husband, because he cannot be otherwise with such a wonderful wife. Love each other from here to heaven forever.
Hi Joyce, Peter and family. The food looks yummy. Asleep Peter go. That's me after a meal, if I don't move around. Yes Peter, your garden is your gym, the best on both ends( food & a good workout). BLESSINGS...❤
Our tradition foods are mostly holidays. Thanksgiving Christmas and Easter. So usually a ham or Turkey or prime rib. Then potato’s and corn some like the green bean casserole. Sweet potato
Your husband must rest well as a farmer❤. Build tables to put the food benches too save your back. My garden was planted too close to the house 🏠 so I had termites eating my house woodwork . Pest killer didn't do much. They also like the fire wood.. Be alert.❤❤
Good afternoon I hope your family are doing well, never watched your UA-cam show until I saw Jimmy big smile now I look forward to seeing your whole family working together and loving each other you and your husband have absolutely beautiful family.
I should go to the gym but I'd rather walk for exercise. That's not a fattening meal to me just high in good carbs. Be blessed and enjoy the fruits of your labor.😊
We have a similar traditional food in Buganda and Busoga called omugoyo( beans and sweet potatoes). The beans are cooked and smashed like you did( preserving some of the bean water). The potatoes are steamed in banana leaves. Then mixed with the beans and mashed well while hot ( just like you did).A little bean water may be added to get a softer mixture. This is eaten with any green vegs, gnut sauce or stew. Try it one of these days, you'll like it. I have tried the food you prepared but without the green bananas/ matooke. 1:23
OH Goodness, Those Pineapples were absolutely Beautiful, Wish we could find healthy fruit like that here in Atlanta, in my area. Most of the fruit and veggies are YUK!!!! Hi, Jimmy cutie pie. That was an interesting Meal. Tell Peter to get some rest. Love you Guys. Can't wait for next Video. Bye
And once in my life I would like to eat such a golden yellow pineapple. Yami. Before the shipment of pineapple arrives by ship to Slovenia and through all the warehouses to the stores, it is no longer nearly as juicy and sweet and.... Oh, I hope that someday...
My mother & father are originally from South Carolina, they are in their 80’s and grew up during segregation, Jim Crow and racism. My parents moved to New York after graduating from high school in the early sixties. My mom still cooked traditional southern meals for our family of 7 & taught me too (I’m the oldest). We ate grits, fried fish, Collard Greens, Lima beans, Rice, stewed chicken, Turkey Wings with gravy, biscuits , potato salad ect . We always had vegetables, rice and chicken or meat on our plate. Mom made biscuits so much, I don’t eat them anymore! 😅😂
In Israel we ate a lot of falafel (fried humus balls), with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and tahini sauce in a pita bread. We also ate a lot of fresh salads; crispy, fresh bread; scrambled eggs; and breakfast cereals with milk. We drank a lot of black coffee, too. I now only eat plant based food, like beans, lentils, fresh and dried fruit, veggies, whole grain breads, rolled oats with raisins, veggie soups, potatoes, brown rice, nuts, and peanuts. I only drink fresh lemonade, or herbal teas. I no longer drink alcoholic beverages or coffee. I no longer eat any ceremonial Jewish food, which I never liked, anyway.
The dish looks delicious , I wish I could come try it. I had my eye on that ripe sweet Pineapple 🍍 it looked delicious. I was happy to see Peter go and cut it, my mouth watering wanting some ❤❤🍑
That looked delicious ❤ I love beans and other legumes. The kind of black beans you use is new to me. Beans is something we buy here in our part of Norway, the summer here is too short to get ripe and dry beans. But we grow a lot of green peas, and freeze them, because the mentioned short summer won’t dry them. When we cook dry beans and peas, we soak them in water during the night and rinse and boil in clean water. That makes the risk of gas in the belly a lot. Traditionally peas, cabbage, leeks and rye and salted and dried meat( like beef jerky, but without sugar) was the traditional food in Norway (in other parts of Norway one can dry peas for keeping during winter). When the potatoes came in the 1700s they became very popular,as they keep all winter in a root cellar. Potatoes with meatballs (the Norwegian kind is called kjøttkaker) and cabbage stew is very Norwegian. I myself prefer pea soup made with yellow peas, bulb onions, carrots and root celery, traditionally made with a smoked ham shank that cooks together with the peas and onions until meat is tender and peas almost ready. Todays living bread from me to you are psalm 46. Be still and know that I am God❤ He is our refuge and our strength! Hallelujah! Amen!
Joyce, I see you still cook outside even though you have a inside stove. Do you prefer to cook outside in nature versus inside? Does the inside stove make the house too hot?
