- This video shows how we can control CST from MATLAB by script files and design a split ring resonator (SRR) unit cell. For application purpose, I showed how to extract permittivity, permeability, impedance, and refractive index of SRR unit cell from S-parameters.

Can you also tell me why you put magnetic wall along Z axis and Electric wall along Y axis and you make X axis as open boundary??

how to calculate effective thickness of the material sample? at 7:49
write the thickness of the substrate. it is FR-4 so the the thickness is 1.6 mm (1600 um)

@@miben5398 in CST m is the effective thickness. I put it mostly the substrate thickness (0.79 mm) and I also done for 1 mm. The results were same

Usually it has a frequency bandwidth
