I think it's actually more easily dropped when it's not your first language, because then you don't have all the social restrictions associated with it in the states/Canada etc.
The F-bomb is universal. Swearing on TV really isn't that much of a big deal outside of the States. The F-bomb isn't even really all that offensive, at least not in the Netherlands where I live. Apparently the States disagree.
Jennifer Bureau actually, we use that word in Hebrew slang, and since it's not in our language it has a lesser meaning when we use it, all of the edge has been taken out of it and we use it slightly differently. It's not considered a very dirty word here, celebrities are frequently quoted saying in magazine interviews and it's definitely not bleep worthy. Curse words are only "powerful" to native speakers who grew up with the notion that they're bad words. That's why it slipped out...I have to remind my husband to watch it with English curse words when we're on vacation in America.

That's why Zack cast her. He was looking for a woman more "Mediterranean", since the Amazons would have been a Mediterranean race. Then he took into consideration her Israeli army stint. That gave her her fierceness, and toughness. Obviously, when Patty came along, as a woman director, they both (Gal AND Patty) looked at WW with the same toughness, but also a tender perspective. We saw that shine in No Man's Land in the first movie, and then when she had to save those Arabic kids playing on the road in WW2/WW84.

Don't be so quick to put the blame on someone who you don't even know what she or her country has been through. And also let me tell you that is absolutely terrifying to live in a country that you could be killed at any moment only because you believe in a certain faith that is different from another's.
